Resumo: The volunteer will be based in our head office and will be managed by our Development Manager. All our activity is based in local communities across Wales with groups including youth groups, community centres, disability groups, young musicians, NEETs to name a few. We deliver music based projects including song writing, sound engineering, studio work, marketing, DJ ing, VJing, rap, rock and pop and digital music.
Volunteers will probably live in a shared house, often with other EVS volunteers on projects in Wales. In the house the volunteers will have their own bedrooms and shared kitchen and bathroom facilities.
This is a small and lively capital city in the south east of Wales. It’s a relaxed city with activities to suit everyone – music, sport, theatre, environmental projects, shops etc. It is easy to travel around the city on foot, by bicycle or by bus. It is a university city with plenty of activities aimed at students and young people. The town has a number of large parks and volunteers will be able to visit nearby beaches and mountains easily by public transport. There are also good public transport links to other cities in the UK. Volunteers will have plenty of opportunities to learn about contemporary Welsh culture.

Ideally they will have a good level of written and spoken English as some of the tasks will involve writing on social networks. They will need to be outgoing and confident as we work within local communities with a variety of different types of people. They will need to have a reasonable level of computer literacy and be prepared to share creative input where necessary.
