It is also a very dynamic city thanks to the numerous and diverse activities which are led (sports and cultural) there.
As indicated previously, the development of projects of exchanges, including European and international, is at the heart of the project of the high school. The objective is that each of those who wish it can benefit from an experience of mobility and from intercultural exploration. It also passes by the reception of European volunteer of various nationalities.

The high school so wishes to widen the horizon of the pupils and to make them become aware that the world does not stop near the high school or near their place of residence. There are human, cultural, relational wealth which it is necessary to develop by the meeting and the curiosity.

The difference is a mutual enrichment. The high school moreover developed numerous projects on this theme.
Among the activities of the volunteer a big part is intended to make discover its country and its culture what will be the object of a presentation in the establishment but also on the social radio of closeness based.

The high school will make every effort to integrate him, favor his immersion in the French culture (discovered cultural, culinary specialities, local and national customs, tourism) and his personal and intercultural enrichment.

Perfil: We appreciate applications according to the relational ease, to the autonomy, to the taking of initiative and the seriousness.
We look for candidates really motivated by our project and, as far as they are in touch with young adults (from 15 to 20 years), a maturity is appreciated.
The selection of the candidates is made according to aspects mentioned above, activities proposed to the volunteer as well as to his centers of interests and to his transferable skills to the pupils.

We so study all the applications (curriculum vitae and letter in support of application) which are sent to us, either directly, or by the bodies of sending and let us proceed to a first selection.
Then (as a supplement to the manfestation of interest), we send back to the candidates a document detailing exactly the missions / activities / tasks to make sure that the candidates understood well our project to avoid any disappointment during the actual reception.

We also join the typical timetable.
According to the information mentioned in the CV and the letter in support of application, we ask possible complementary questions.
We ask to the candidates to indicate clearly if they maintain their applications.
We fix a deadline to answer to which we revise all the applications and have a first phone contact with the successful applicant in first choice.

The volunteer is not subjected to the same rules as the employees, he will never be alone in situation of animation. His activity does not substitute himself for an employment. There is already a team in position: the volunteer will be integrated into it.

Tarefas: The high school proposes an activity of voluntary service of 10 months (from September to June).
Involved in the general animation of the establishment with the high school students, in association with the educational team, the volunteer will participate mainly in the implementation of artistic and cultural activities including in association with the local bodies (social radio of closeness, museum, art gallery). Besides his investment in our structure, he will have time to implement awareness-raising activities of the young high school students in the European citizenship and in the valuation of the voluntary service. It’s a list not exaustive of the led activities by volunteer who can be adapted according to his centers of interests and to his skills.

- Help to the update of the web site of the high school (part of the site on the European mobility)
Activities with the pupils - - Promote the device European Voluntary Service of the PEJA

" personal Initiative " According to the centers of interest of the volunteer (yoga, guitar, singing) and of his skills, complementary activities can be organized in the personal project of the volunteer.
Radio RTR (social of closeness and school) Creation of European chronicles broadcasted on the whole municipality
For an optimal performance of Youthpass at the end of the service, the guardian and the volunteer will review at every month end the realized activities, the knowledge, the skills and the acquired attitudes.
This measure will allow the volunteer to review regularly its experience(experiment), his learnings and so to develop activities within the framework of his personal project to reach new skills-keys which the project would not allow him to value.
The volunteer will participate in the seminariesorganized by the agencies of the PEJA or the other institutions.
He can lean on the high school and the coordinating body to help him in his diverse initiatives and answer his questions.

In terms of learning, besides the informal learning, the high school will propose financing according to his wishes:
- A linguistic deepening of 4 hours by week dispensed by the CRAISAF. All the European volunteers welcomed on the territory of the Big follow French lessons within this association. It allows to strengthen partnerships with the concerned structures but also to create of the link between the volunteers.
- The inscription in the DELF or DALF
- The acquisition of radio skills in partnership with radio, social radio of closeness in schools.
The formal and informal learning of the language will allow the volunteer to develop his knowledge, his capacities (know how to make) and his attitudes (know how to be).
