Resumo: The project will take place mainly at our office in a city with 500.000 inhabitants.
Some activities (meetings and ski events) will take place all over the country of Norway, often at small places and in the mountains but also in bigger cities like Trondheim. The volunteer willl have the possibility to visit several parts of Norway and travel a lot both by car and by plane.

Perfil: Our volunteer should
1) be interested in ski sport, outdoor activities and travelling. Experience in cross- country skiing is not necessary though but our volunteer should like to work with it and be interested to learn cross- country skiing..
2) have some academic background and some experience in computer systems (World, Excel etc). Standard knowledge from school should be sufficient.
Age: 18 until 30 years old

Learning about nordic ski sport

• the role of EVS volunteers in the Host Organisation,

The volunteer will work at our office mainly as an ordinary office worker, doing secretary work, writing emails, making statistics, information on our website, invitations, support during meetings ans ski events, and more.
He or she will work together with some colleagues and get tasks by different people at the office to assist them with various jobs. The volunteer will also work independently with his or her own areas of responsibility. Some tasks or projects the volunteer gets involved in can be chosen or adapted according to his or her interests.
At ski races and other ski events the volunteer will be part of the organisation staff. He or she will get to know athletes, trainers, sponsors etc. and have jobs like time-keeping and writing results list. There will be a lot of time to watch skiraces and to go skiing ourselves.
