Resumo: Our organisation is located in two different places. We closely cooperate with the units which are the parts of the School ie. Eurodesk Local Relay, Career’s Centre, English Theatre Club, School Club. Our volunteers also cooperate with other organisations

Our office is in a buliding that is a place for many non profit organizations. It consists of two completely eqiupped rooms.

Taking into account economic issues, the main problem of the town is the unemployment rate, which is approximately 20 %.

The volunteers will be accommodated in a rented flat in the rooms of two people. A kitchen and a bathroom will be shared with all EVS volunteers living in the flat
They will work 30-35 hours per week (about 6-7 hours daily). We expect them to realise their own projects, for example, they may conduct lessons in their mother tongue. The volunteer should be ready to work at weekends as well.

Perfil: Our project is open for young people who wants to be volunteers and who is not under 18 years old.We expect the volunteers to be open-minded, communicative, patient and highly motivated to work in our institution. They should also be independent and prepared to work on various tasks. We value one's own initiative and creativity.

It is recommended to all candidates that previous experience in teaching mother language may be useful but any qualifications are not vital.

It is welcome if the volunteer has basic English language skills and is willing to study Polish, which would help a lot in daily life of a volunteer and will enable him/her to be more involved into the organization's life.
Age: 18 until 30 years old

Tarefas: One of the main goals of the program is to give the volunteer a possibility to learn about new cultures, in this particular case the Polish culture. Therefore, the volunteer will have the opportunity to attend various kinds of cultural events which take place in the town or region.

Volunteering in our organization is a unique possibility to understand Polish culture directly through work and staying with people. The volunteers have the opportunity to work on personal development and self confidence through the contact with young people and to improve their skills, abilities in group work with people of different personalities, age and background (employees and Polish volunteers , other EVS volunteers, young people involved in the Centre activities, youth leaders and members of other ngo-s).

The volunteers will also have a chance to take part in trainings and workshops organized by our association.

The volunteers will work with a wide range of group ages from children (from 3 to 13 years old) young people (14-25 years old) to adults and seniors. They will also get to know different methods of non-formal education like discussions moderator, energizers or team building.

They will also learn basics of the management of non-governmental organization (NGO) and how to use the project as a method.

During the project volunteers will also:
- learn how to work in an international team

Once a month we'll organize meeting with volunteer during which we'll be working mainly on Youhpass. Volunteer and coordinator will try to evaluate ended actions. Thanks to that volunteer will have a possibility to create his/hers own certificate with list of his/hers capacity and skills.

During the project volunteer will take part in special trainings connected with his/hers tasks in the organization as well as with his/hers interest. Training will develop his/hers skills and qualifications. This will have very big influence on his/her work and his/hers conscious participation in this project - e.g. workshops devoted to developing manual of interpersonal skills.
