Resumo: The association is a part of a national network that is conducting trainings for youth workers and organizes holiday camps for children.

The city and the surrounding area; a dynamic and open area
the city and the surrounding area has nearly 350 000 inhabitants, and is the first regional area. It is located in the heart of the Valley.

The city is in 2013 in the process of constructing a tramway, and is also marked by the continuous expansion of the intercommunalité.

The dynamism of the city is particularly linked to the student life, with more than 2800 international students in 2011, and to activities carried out by associations, being both cultural and related to childhood and youth.

Being a city on the crossroads, the openness of the city is linked to the structure of the highway, to the major railroad which passes through the city, as well as the international airport; which connects the city with large cities, both French and European. The system of collective transport, with buses and rental bicycles, enables everyone to travel both within and outside of the city.

Since 1993, the organization has worked with the youth in the region. As an association for youth and popular education, it incorporates possibilities for civil society and for sharing with other actors.

The organization is governed by a board, and has a structure consisting of volunteers, commissions (intercultural, pedagogical and local life). This allows people to become involved in specific actions, to share ideas, and to have access to information. In addition, two permanent employees are in place in the city to ensure the administrative management and the coordination of activities of the association. From April 2012, there will also be an emplyee working on European mobility and intercultural issues. This will strengthen the association's activities related to these topics.

The organization thus conducts activities in the city, and in région Centre. The organization also occasionally conducts activities in abroad. The main seat of the association is in the city, where the employees share office premises with a dozen other associations active in a variety of fields (theater, education about international development, protection of the environment, etc.). At the local level, the collective of Europe 37, the youth associations the organizers of centers are all actors within the organization.
