Resumo: Vão participar 2 voluntários portugueses neste projeto.

The poject themes are “Rroma communities” and “Media and communication/ Youth
information”. Effectively, through this project we want to contribute to growing capacity of the remedial educational programs for the Rroma communities and initiating media campaigns in the support of social integration of rroma. In the project, the other partners will come with the experience gained in projects of social inclusion. Practically, it will be a portal for exchange of good practices that will be continuously updated with information and where it will be invited
also other youth organizations to present examples of good practices from experience gained in social inclusion projects.

The project will provide opportunity for volunteers to have
entrepreneurial initiatives and to prove creativity in the activities they will perform in support of
Romani communities. Through the media campaign, prepared and implemented by volunteers with the support of qualified organization´s staff, it will be offered information in the Romani communities concerning EU policies in the field of youth, information on combating poverty and
marginalization, information relating to the fight against racism, prejudice and xenophobia

Perfil: Young persons with ages between 18-30 years, with an equal number of girls and boys.
Young people interested to work with youth from Rroma communities.
Young people with fewer opportunities.
Young people proving creativity, anteprenorial spirit and desire to work in a intercultural
environment.

Tarefas: - Co-organizing the summer kindergarten. Within this activity implemented by the organization in
partnership with County School Inspectorate, the volunteers with qualifiedorganization´s staff
will go in Roma communities and will inform the parents about kindergarten summer's
organization. They will inform the parents about the kindergarten and its benefits, about the
importance that their children go to kindergarten before starting 1st class. During the summer
kindergarten, the volunteers will organize interactive and recreation games for children (sport
games and music and drawing workshops).
-Co-organization of the "Second Chance" activity. Within this activity, the volunteers together
with qualified organization´s staff will go in Roma communities to inform the young people and the
adults who have not gone to school to have the possibility to make "a second chance" training.
Within the "second chance" courses, the volunteers will make with the young people information
actions about the European Community, citizen rights, importance of participation in European
Parliament elections.
-Co-organizing "parents ' school “ activity. Within this activity, the volunteers accompanied by
qualified organization´s staff, will inform the parents about this activity and will organize information
sessions about citizens ' rights as well as foreign languages courses.
-Organization of two regional seminars and annual Conference. Within this activity, the
volunteers supported by qualified staff, will realize posters, flyers and will invite representatives
of local authorities, MPs and MEPs who together with Roma young people and Roma youth leaders will also discuss subjects related to the EU politics in the field of youth, citizens ' rights, fighting poverty and marginalization, combat prejudice and racism.
- Organization of information media campaigns. The volunteers supported by qualified organization´s staff and in partnership with the Antidrug National Council for Combating discrimination and the County Agency for employment, will prepare and implement a media campaign in Roma communities, which will focus on the presentation of citizen rights, importance of participation
in the European Parliament elections, combating racism, prejudice, discrimination and use of drugs, combating poverty and marginalization. Within the media campaign, the volunteers will develop promotional posters, flyers, press releases, news, television commercials, will participate in TV shows.

Horário: The volunteers will work 6 hours / day from Monday to Friday. Their schedule will be organized
as follow:
9.00.10.00: preparing the activity.
10.00-13.00: activities in rroma communities.
13.00-14.00: lunch break.
14.00-16.00: Activities in rroma communities. The volunteers will have 2 days off every month,
will have days off according to Romanian legislation and will have holidays according to the
universitar year 2013 – 2014.

Condições: The volunteers will be accommodated in three apartments rented by the organization in Rm.
The houses are equipped with central heating, water, TV cable and internet. The kitchen is fully equipped. The houses have 3 bedrooms, two bathrooms and living room. To feed, the
volunteers will receive a fixed amount at the beginning of each month, amount which will allow them to buy aliments and cook themselves. Also at the beginning of the month, all volunteers
will receive a fixed allowance (pocket money). The local transport will be provided free of charge for the entire EVS period by the organization.
