Resumo: Village Council of Baltanás ( province of Palencia, Castile and Lion- SPAIN); FIRST VOLUNTEER will participate in SOCIAL activities with elderly people in Residence Center : - Social project supporting activities with elderly people in Residence Center; Accompanying (speaking, listening, providing company to those most in need, sick ...), supporting inter-group, encouraging relationships, playing games, press reading, walks inside, and also accompanying to the Medical Center, commerce, bank) and cultural and social events; Supporting in the pursuit of self-stimulation through programs of voluntary (painting, music, games, literary reading ....all in their own country); Parties in the Centre, preparation and execution of activities about topics of their country and personal experience. (talk-show at the end of your EVS project in the Youth House); SECOND VOLUNTEER- The volunteer will participate in INTERGENERATIONAL activities in Child care Center, Youth Center , and Day Center for elderly people; Supporting the Baltanas' Youth Center ( Educational activities ), and Child Care Center - Summer School Program called "Growing in the summer" with children; - Reading activities, especially in the Pool Library during the summer. - Youth information activities, working on line, by paper or by email and then sending it to the young people. - Cultural Events, support for summer activities such as "Cultural Summer", "Festival of Baltanás - Supporting activities with elderly people not valides in Day Center ( accompanying, playing games, reading, walks inside and outside.)The two volunteers will make some activities together that the Village Council organise in the summer. They 're special events as Carnivals, Fairs, Traditions, Summer School., and also activities based on their training, experience and countries (traditions, gastronomy ...), and activity in the final weeks of the project, through power point or speaking about the project, programme, ... This could also be with a video. This document will be incorporated into the municipal website

Condições: The volunteers will live in a new house, and they will have training of
Spanish language during their EVS.
