The volunteers will be integrated, from their arrival onwards, into the community life with all its aspects: resident's life, work life and leisure time.
Short-term group project:
We host a group of 6 to 9 volunteers with fewer opportunities during one month at the community.

Our aim is to give these young people a new life experience at the community with the companions. For this reason, they will participate, three and a half days per week, in different activities of our community: sales in the Bric-à-Brac shop, restoration of second-hand objects, reception and transport of objects given by the inhabitants and the local enterprises, help in the community's kitchen,... Two days per week are reserved for group activities such as a workshop organized every year around another topic (languages, recycling arts, video ...), excursions in order to discover the projects surroundings and the Landes and the Basque countries local culture. The volunteers will also prepare an exhibition about their countries with photos or different documents; they will participate in intercultural evenings and in a French language course given once a week. The project ends with the yearly open-door festival of the community when the volunteers present their workshop results to a large public by a performance or an exhibition.
