Resumo: The organization is situated in a city known for its historical buildings and is near the City West and the Zoo. We have a maisonette apartment and a large playground with garden in the inner courtyard of the organization.

Perfil: We are looking for volunteers who are as interested in natural learning as we are, and who would like to become familiar with our approach and would like us to benefit from their experiences. Curiosity and inner drive help make possible valuable experiences both for oneself and for our children. We are open to cooperation with all recruiting organisations.
Age: 18 until 30 years old

Tarefas: The volunteer will be tightly integrated into our small team and actively participates in the forming of learning opportunities. The chaperones offer the children a "prepared environment" which allows the child to satisfy its desire to learn and to follow inner developmental strengths. The non-structured work is the centerpiece of the teachings of the organization. In this area, the volunteer can help support the child. The child has its own (learning) experiences in contact with environment. It needs and perfects "tools". Since there is only one of each type of material available, the children are challenged to communicate with each other and to respect the needs of other children without forgetting their own needs. They learn to cooperate and to make agreements - the social behaviour of the children towards one another is fostered. Like the counsellors, the volunteer accompanies the children as they have these experiences and is available to them with his or her own personal experiences.

The content and organisational stucture of learning work allows each child to utilise and be schooled according to its own intellectual, creative and social abilities. These are to be supported and fostered in the interest of promoting satisfying and long enduring learning. With the use of a volunteer, we can further support this process through the inclusion of intercultural and language elements. The volunteer is closely integrated into the pre-school team and can develop his or her own projects according to his or her interests and offer his or her own ideas and insights. In addition, the volunteer can concretely be included in the communication in "other" languages as a native speaker of a foreign language.

The volunteer will get to know us and our work without rush. This will open to him or her - as to our children - innumerable chances to learn informally and naturally. At the beginning of the voluntary service, the volunteers will be introduced to our work.
