Resumo: The action presented is to host 4 young european volunteers at the same time in 4 different places:
- 1 volunteer in the Centre
- 1 volunteer in the Youth and Cultural centre
- 1 volunteer in the network of youth and cultural centres in Normandy,
- 1 volunteer in the Youth and Cultural centre

The city is a small rural town located on the national highway linking. It has about 4000 inhabitants and occupies a privileged location in the heart of the estuary and benefits from the dynamism proximityof the 2 major cities, Rouen and Le Havre,a city of 250 000 people, listed as World Heritage by UNESCO.
Traditionally, shines with its environment thanks to its shops and artisans, its industrial parks and technology but also thanks to the diversity of its administrative and social services.

The city hosts every Saturday, one of the largest markets in the region. It also has a cultural centre famous for its music programming and live entertainment.
The selected area for hosting the volunteers is the "Country of Caux" with the city of Yvetot as the center place + 2 villages located 20 kilometres.The volunteers will live in Yvetot, a city with 8000 inhabitants, that offers all services (administrative and health services) and leisure (cinema, restaurants, cultural centers…).
A train connects Paris with Le Havre (1h1/2 toParis and less than 30 min from Le Havre to Rouen), several bus lines (one goes to the sea) and also the freeway. It is a tourist area which offers many possibilities.
The "Country of Caux" is a rural and enclosed country, distinguished by small communes with local councillors who hesitate to create new projects and with a lack of interest from the inhabitants and the elects regarding the European mobility.

The young people living here are not very mobile, which is the reason why it is difficult for them to go on with their studies or to find a job. This lack of motion is as much physical as psychological.

Lots of people are working in the local companies, but less and less of them are working in farms (note that the linseed cultivation is still active).

The "Country of Caux" is an attractive area for tourism and is located in the middle of the countryside, not far from the beach and from large towns as Rouen and Le Havre.

It's a country with a young population and due to this fact also with many schools (for instance, 4 secondary schools in the area where the volunteers) will work. The associative landscape is also full of potentials with different associations that could be their partners for this action.
This will allow the volunteers activities to take place in several locations throughout the region, depending on the available transport and accommodation.

Perfil: The principle governing this project is the joint reception of 4 volunteers. It seems interesting that this group will be be really composed of young people with different cultures and nationalities, coming from the 4 corners of Europe.
We'll also prioritize the co-education at girls and boys and will take care to avoid age discrimination.
For the Centre of all Saint-Romain, we would like the volunteer to have :

- Desire to work in teams and with all ages, love for making contact
- Interest and experience in video, photography and visual and plastic arts,
- Wish to share experience and knowledge with youngsters and professionals
- Will to develop and participate in cross-cultural animation projects
- 18 -30 years of age and a driving license

Tarefas: The coordinating association coordinator, The RMJCN will provide hours of linguistics lessons, in accordance with the needs of everyone and could organize internal joint exchange days in order to talk with the volunteers about their concerns (regarding, or not, their voluntary service).
The associations will also do its utmost to find for the volunteers, help with transportation to allow them to move, particularly during the week-ends ( Country railways cards,Country bus cards, etc …) They will benefit from the meals proposed by the organizations (for example, the meals served in school leasure centres) and free cultural and sportive activities.
The 4 volunteers will work on their own taks for 4 days.
According to the the hosting location, each volunteer will be involved in the life of the structure, within the framework of the proposed activities.

Action of the young volunteer will regard the various activities offered by the association :

- Participation in cultural activities and workshops developed by the library (storytelling festival, week of taste, reading workshops)
- Animation of video workshops and / or photography with young people aged between 14 and 17 years guided by a facilitator and a professional broadcasting.
- Present the characteristics their country with young people and inter-cultural development (presentation of their country in middle and high schools and youth attending the MPT)
- Creating and participating in local animation presented by the association in line with the skills of the volunteer (week of international solidarity, children's carnival, New Year 's gala, etc ...)

These presentations could also be proposed in the leisure centres, the association workshops or the youth reception centres. Thematic evenings and exhibitions could also be organized for the members of the structures and even for everybody.

Each volunteer will be able to propose one or several animations (chosen by them) in accordance with the organization.
For this matter they will receive the necessary time and the structure will be kept at its disposal for any requirement.

The volunteers will meet One day per week (at the RMJCN from Yvetot), in order to work together on a common project that will take place at the end of the year.).

On 2011, being the year of volunteering, we thought about making a short film having about having experience of the host and the volunteers during these 9 months. This realization may take various forms (documentary or fiction, portrait or other which is left to the free will of volunteers.
Youth will be present at all stages of production (writing, comedy, tracking, recording, editing) technicians are supervised by audio-visuals professional.
The objective of this production is to highlight the collective and individual experience of young European volunteers.
This film will be released as a "sneak preview" in a theater or a cultural hall and will be followed by a discussion exchange between volunteers and the audience. It may then also be broadcast in middle or high schools attended by volunteers, but also after they leave.
These different presentations will be an opportunity to exchange views on European mobility and to give others the desire to participate.

During this training, the volunteers will learn to :

-Develop and implement a project of "communication" common
-Take in account each other's cultural differences and experiences,
-Meet the local people,
-Demonstrate creativity and imagination,
-Develop some capabilities (multimedia for instance)
