Resumo: The main environment in which the voluntary activities are going to take place is the building, owned by NC Future now, located in the village of Arda (27 km. from Smolyan) by the upper stream of Arda river, Rodopi mountains. The building which is being renovate by volunteers is in consent with all EU directives. It is easily accessible and also fully accessible by handicapped people.

Activities will include working with local inhabitants, youngsters and children, reparation of the building, also travelling to the regional centre Smolyan town, where the lyceum cooperates with four schools and institutions for people with disabilities. The conditions are good and meet the minimum requirements for health, security measures and general safety of the volunteers.

Moreover volunteers will be involved in the activities of our partners from Smolyan: Smolyan MIKC and NGO "New Horizons" and in this way will acquire a rich experience in cooperating with different organizations, they will build new skills and qualities related to team work and will adapt easily to different working environments in the future.

Perfil: We would like the volunteers that will be visiting us to be creative, active and communicative young people. We would like them to be interested in the preservation of the environment and working with children and young people. To be initiative, ready to act, to have leadership skills and willing to develop in the same direction as our organisation.

We will respond to all candidates and we will provide a transparent and equal access to all of them applying for EVS, without taking notice of their social status, gender, ethnic origin or religious views. Everyone that is willing to participate and to support our cause would have this opportunity.

We would like to cooperate with educational, cultural, social and youth organisations, mainly in the field of upbringing and education of children and young people. As well as organisations working in the outdoors and promoting activities closer to the nature, while using the methods of learning through experience and learning by doing.
age: 18 until 30 years old

Tarefas: The activities in which the volunteer will be involved are connected to the organisation, the coordination and the participation in the eco-academies, and all other projects of the organisation.
These activities will contribute to the knowledge development of the volunteer in terms of informal education. He/She will acquire new abilities such as organising and teaching classes on ecological topics, working with children, organising eco-academies which includes communicating with a lot of people and making a lot of new contacts, leadership skills and teamwork skills, self-dependence, presentation and communication skills in general.

The organization is a young and active organisation in which the new ideas and creativity of the volunteer will be applauded and the organisation will take seriously the realization of any ideas as long as they are in the organisation's competency and capability.

Volunteers will be able to take part as mentors in our current project on the implementation of the "International Award for young people" in Bulgaria and will be involved in other projects of ours like: TEDxYouth, FutureFriendly seminars and more.
These activities will expand volunteer's knowledge in the field of formal, informal and extra-curricular training and education.

It will acquire new skills such as:
- planning and implementation of student oriented activities in certain environmental issues;
- work with children and adolescents;
- organizing adventurous and natural academies;
- communication and networking;
- leadership skills and ability to work in a team;
- respect and a sense of mutual assistance;
- autonomy and personal qualities
- presentation skills, etc.
The activities which will be offered to the volunteer are connected with:

" Working in eco-clubs. This work includes: organising and leading classes, coordinating of clubs, contacting parents and teachers.
" Participating in the preparation, the communication and the carrying-out of the summer mountain-based eco-academies. This includes: preparing the daily program, organising games, discussions and lectures on different topics connected with preservation of the environment and biodiversity.
" Preparing and organising activities for children club-members during weekends.
" Preparing, communicating and organising outdoors activities in urban and rural conditions.
" Communicating with partner organisations and working in current projects.
" Researching for potential donators and programs and signing project proposals.
