Resumo: Project objectives are:

- to promote European Voluntary Service in order to develop activities and competences and growing their chances of employment. This will be done through activities as online information campaign and promoting EVS in hyschools from Braila.

- To develop integration activities for the one who are in dificulty and involve them actively.

Perfil: - Young volunteer, a boy and a girl aged between 18-30 years, willing to learn new things, and to face multiculturality.

- Willing to work in a team, able to assume and carry out the responsibilities in a set period of time, communicative, active, detached, optimistic and eager to turn their abilities into skills.

- Eager to help young people and families in need;

- Young volunteer who comes from from peripheral regions with fewer opportunities;


The project “Volunteer for Community” want to give support to children, youth, families with fewer opportunities and old people.

Tarefas: The EVS volunteer will develop the next activities:

• training sessions and training in various fields for youth (as complete a resume, cover letter, etc.).

• leisure activities: contests, festivals, etc.

• personal development activities (workshops to develop language skills, arts, plastic, etc.);

• social volunteer activities in the community (in homes for the elderly, kindergartens, schools, centers for people with disabilities, etc.);


This activities that the EVS volunteer will develop are divided in 4 groups:

• Activities for community meaning volunteering in library, in schools and kindergardens, workshop

• Activities for youth: workshops, contest, festivals.

• Activities for children: contest, activities to promote ecologic education, public health and so on.

• Social volunteering activities in community: volunteering at centers for elderly people, volunteering in center for people with disabilities.
