Resumo: This as traditional district town with the flair of past baroque . As former residence with baroque built volumes the town belongs to the well received city plants from the 18./19. Century.

Traffic routes: 12 kilometers up to federal motorway A 24 Hamburg Berlin, three federal highways through-cross the city; Regional airport in Parchim is in 26 km distance, supraregional connections with railway from the town to Hamburg (100 km), Berlin (190 km), Schwerin (35 km) and Rostock/Baltic sea (120km).

The accommodation of volunteer takes place in 2-room-dwelling, which is at the outskirts of town. It has a common bath incl. washing machine and kitchen with cook opportunity.
The food supply takes place in autonomy. Volunteer receives the garrison ration (in accordance with ordinance on remuneration in kind).

Volunteer receives a bicycle from the organization for the time of the project for the own constant order.

Perfil: Interest in children and youth people in the youth work, in organization of youth offers in culture, art and sport.
After the sifting of the received applications of young people we decide for the applicant who can state convincing motivation for our EVS-project. Large role plays commitment of applicant in youth and social projects in homeland. Our most important criterion for choice are Experiences of young people those already experienced or even along-organized projects with or for children or young people. We want to participate at these experiences and give volunteer possibility to flow own ideas into our daily work with children and young people. Characteristics such as reliability, able to communicateness and willingness and openness we infer from contents of the received requests. In addition tolerance is presupposed there in dwelling volunteers sometimes live together 2 volunteers from different cultures. Gender or age of applicants does not play role in choice.

Three persons (mentor and tutors) and business guide of our organization select those from the received applications those correspond our profile (specific ethnical group, religion, sexual plant or political opinion do not have meaning with choice).
We work together with all interested sending organizations.

Tarefas: Preparation and execution of the intercultural festival "Kultival" in June each yearly is cultural high point of volunteer service. Volunteer engages artists, manufactures contacts to grades and organizes overnight accomodation and Catering for artists and visitors. Kultival understands itself as platform to present different cultures themselves those becomes meeting place and point of communication by the direct contact to visitors and thus to carry out knows contribution for communication between the cultures.
In addition activities volunteer exists in find and accomplish juvenile offers particularly within the range of communication in the open work with young people. Volunteer learns to know groups of pupils and visitors of our youth and leisure centre by daily meeting within open youth range. He/she prepares projects, creative offers, sport, film meetings among other things interesting youth meetings.
The weekly occupation of volunteer amounts to 35 hours.
Usually the weekends are available to the individual spare time.
Additional training further offers for example family assistance or public work can take up volunteer in our internal training further meetings.
