Resumo: The voluntary activities will mainly take place at the youth hostel and the direct environment: the vineyards, the natural reserve and the river Moselle. At the youth hostel, the host organization is offering programs and activities especially for primary and post primary schools, but also for youth groups, scouts and families, including environmental subjects of the region. The responsible staff of the programs is composed by one person who is assisted during the main season by freelance workers.

Basic knowledge of german and/or French are very useful for the contact with the school classes
age: 18 until 30 years old

Tarefas: The aim of the project is in a first part to develop new and the foreseen environment activities for children and young people.
Afterwards the volunteer will help to lead groups and schoolclasses who come the youth hostel for the planned activities.
The goal of the activities is to let kids discover nature and environment. Some activities are already planned, but it is our wish that you can get your input with your own ideas and create things for the future.

At the youth hostel itself, there is also a kindergarden for children from 4 – 12 years where you will support the team and learn from the way they work with children.
