Resumo: The hosting organization is located in the heart of the country. It is a very old city and reveals many secrets for those who are ready to explore. Additionally, it is the centre of administration, government and houses all foreign embassies. The city provides many entertainment facilities, for young people and for the numerous students. The large shopping malls, entertainment parks and plentiful bars are especially popular amongst youngsters. Even though the city lies in one of the driest areas of the country, it is considered as the “green city” because it offers many green spaces and parks.

Saray Barrier-free Living Care and Rehabilitation Center which has been serving disabled people is closed to Esenboga International Airport. Transportation to city center is provided by means of public transportation and organization's services.

The volunteer is accommodated in a private house, which he would share with other volunteers. It is fully furnished. The home offers several rooms for volunteers, volunteers share rooms with one or two of them; a kitchen, a big bathroom and a living room as common socializing space. Ev Saray Engelsiz Yaşam Bakım ve Rehabilitasyon Merkezi içerisinde bulunmaktadır. situated in a safe, clean and fairly rich district of the town. The near-by park gives opportunity for various sport activities such as playing football or basketball.

In the free time, volunteers have the possibility to travel and we also organise common activities such as picnics and barbecues. These activities are not compulsory, but according to our experiences, they were very welcomed and appreciated by volunteers. The leisure activities help volunteers to adopt and find themselves comfortable in the new environment more quickly. They strengthen the bonds within the working group, which are essential and responsible for the pleasant working atmosphere.


Transportation in Emek Social Contribution for Elderly Center is provided by means of subway, bus, minibus and taxi easily. They can provide participants in social,cultural and artistic activities. There are more shopping opportunities. They can ensure participation in these activities with elderly.

The volunteer will follow the programme that is planned and prepared by project management team.Under the soul of EVS, this programme is gotten by focusing on learning targets listed below:

(1) Communicaion in mother tongue
(2) Communicaion in the foreign language
(3) Mathematical competence and basic skills in science and technology
(4) Digital competence
(5) Learning to learn
(6) Social and civil competences
(7) Sense of initiative and entrepreneurship
(8) Cultural awarence and expression

Perfil: Young people between the ages of 18-30 who are open to learning, responsive, responsible, tolerance and empathy, interested in disability and old age and can take the initiative and organize,want to get to know other cultures and languages and various types of people, have capable of teamwork will be selected.

Tarefas: S/he will have the opportunity to work with Social Worker on the evaluation of olders who apply for making use of services in the Old Care services. S/he will be able to take part in such activities as Turkish classical music, Turcish classical music chorus practises, manipulative skills courses within the scope of artistic activities and trips, theatre etc. within the sope of cultural activities. Moreover, they will take charge in hospital accompaniment and home care service to increase sense of responsibility. With the skill staff, s/he will visit olders at home who can’t attendind to the center.
S/he will actively take part in applications of intergenerational interaction for active life. Modules will be implemented under for main topics. To strengthen active participation of olders and youngs residing in the city into social life, to allow olders to take part actively in the society by decreasing the generation gap, and to contribute to the improvement of young people’s awareness on social responsibility, for Generation Meeting, modules below will be practised.

Understanding and Dialogue-Oriented Mirror Module: In the framework of this model, a five o'clock tea gathering followed by a travel and nature walk are going to be begin the module as a triptical gathering and are going to be used as a means to actively participate in life. Mobility, the possive effect on elderly people with psycho-social conditions are going to ensure a mutual dialogue with the support of young people.

Technology/ Computer Access-Oriented Mirror Module: Young people are going to teach elderly the use of the internet, computer and mobile phones. Communication technologies are going to enable elderly to use in emergency situations and in any ccase of need. They will be given the opportunity to spend more accessible years and not to be completely out from the new technologies.

Social Responsibility-Oriented Understanding Development Mirror Module: Three sub modules are going to be implemented:going to concert, going shopping together and regulation of nesilFEST. With this application during the project all the activities carried out are going to be shared with the public during the conference that will be held.

Experience Share-Oriented Mirror Module: Three sub modules are going to implement that are journey to the past, memories and photographs of the forgotten art and about craftsmanship information sharing. It is targeted focused learning experience at least three meeting.

NesilFEST: NesilFEST project's implementation and outcomes are going to be shared with the public and media in the city. It is going to be implemented with at least 600 people. During the project all the outputs are going to be exhibited. With the young and the elderly stand points and an interview they are going to come together within the framework of an active lifestyle.

Volunteers will participate actively in all implementations of AYNA project.
