Resumo: The project is about helping ZOO in our city to provide care, support, healthy environment to the wild animals in their care. Our project is about helping personnel from Zoo to take care about animals, and is also equally about promoting voluntary work in our community and about encouraging young people to be active volunteers in conservation projects in our area.
Perfil: • unemployed young people or disadvantaged young people (facing economic or social issues, those who abandon educational system, ethnic minorities in their countries, living in isolated areas, physical disabled )
• young people passionate about our projects, interested to learn and motivated to help us
Age: 18 until 30 years old
Tarefas: -prepare food for animals and assist personnel at Zoo in feeding the animals
-take care of non dangerous animals, follow their behaviour, learn about them
-help children and adults visiting Zoo to know about these animals, to help them learn about their life and habits, help children get closer to animals
-offer support to Life Foundation in promoting and developing a voluntary service for young people at Zoo
-prepare and organise 2 workshops in highschools and atthe University for students on volunteering and its benefits for both community and volunteers
