Resumo: Outline the project environment for the suggested voluntary Service, including the local community where the project will take place (e.g. geographical, social and economical environment). If the host placement is located in a live-in community, please include the rules and conditions that apply also for the volunteer.

Most of the project that our organisation is aiming to develop and implement are for the youngsters in the town. Also our organisation’s desire is to implement and develop project in the region, the town’s surrounding areas. The city is the capital of our country, is the most animated, pluralist, intecultural city in the whole country. Every day foreign people are coming, leaving and establishing in the town. The notion of foreign people is not an unknown notion for the towns inhabitants. Also the town is the biggest universitary center in Romania. A lot of foreign students are present here for studies. The the town has a lot of facilities, entertainment points, cultural background (theatre, opera, music, etc.) that a volunteer can explore. Also a lot of activities can be develop for the romanian youngsters with foreign youngsters. Volunteers that will come in an EVS project in the town will find a lot of interesting things and activities to do in order to suit best their needs, expectations and fulfill their desires in order to help them develop themselves and local communities. Inside the projects volunteers will be strongly connected with the student environment, they will do activities with students and for students. Also they will work with some public institutions as we mentioned them above, cultural institutions and also institutions that are working with disability youngsters, schools and other institutions. The range of domains and activities that volunteers can tackle inside and EVS project in the town is practically unlimited.

Geographical, the town is fastly connected with all the romanian areas either by train, bus, or highways.
From an economical point of view the city is the most developed city in Romania. The biggest world corporations and companies, together with local companies have their headquerter in the town. Also a lot of foreigners come to Romania in searching for a place to work, or are brought by the internations companies to work here.

If we were to refer to the ethnical diversity of the city, we would have to mention the Roma community. It is quite an important community which over the years developed a good relation with the rest of the residents of the area. In this context it would be appropriate to mention that in the recent history of the town there is no recorded incident concerning inter-ethnical disputes.

Foreign volunteers are not something new to the community, the town being the location in which several projects of NGOs took place.

Perfil: The organization's recruitment process will not be influenced by the gender, nationality, race or ethnicity, educational level, religion, sexual or political orientation of the candidate.
Any volunteer who has the necessary abilities and experience required by our projects is more than welcome to work with us.

The volunteers are going to be selected starting from their motivation and their willingness to get involved in our project. All the volunteers that are interested in our projects are required to send us a manifestation of interest letter. In this letter the volunteers will have to describe in which way they think that the project it’s serving best their interests. In this way we will be ensured that the volunteers know very well the project and it’s activityes and are fully understanding it.

There will be accepted in the selection process only those volunteers that are expressing clearly their willingness to get involved in the project and bring inside it their experiences, knowledges and determination. To get in contact with the volunteers we will on one hand write e-mails to all the organisations that are in the EVS database asking them to forward the information to their volunteers in order to see if any is interested, and on the other hand we will publish informations on groups where people that are willing to go in EVS stages are activating and reading the posts.

There is no standard type of organisations that we envisage and we have into consideration. All the organisations that are willing to send volunteers and are cooperating with us prompt, fast providing us all the information that we required are eligible for send volunteers and will be taken into consideration.
age:18 until 30 years old

Tarefas: The volunteers will work mostly in an urban environment, the town the biggest city of Romania also the capital of the country. But, in order to ensure the chance to acquire a various experience we will try to implement with them some activities in the surrounding villages of the town, rural areas. In order to achieve this goal we will contact the local authorities and together with them and volunteers we will set up a set of activities and measures for volunteers to implement in the local communities.

Volunteers will have the opportunity to meet in their EVS stage all types of people: olympics or early school leavers, children with great talents, with a good financial situation or facing financial difficulties, students, youngsters with disabilities or youngsters that are facing other problems, etc. The young Rromas should also be mentioned, as the volunteers will, for sure, be involved in activities involving them and the problems they face.

By working with our organization, in an EVS project, volunteers will have the opportunity to learn how to:
• work as a team and in an international environment
• develop their own skills in arts or handicrafts
• gather and use information
• develop plans and strategies in accordance with the common European values
• create written, audio or video materials
• make them appealing and also educational
• communicate, both writing and orally, to understand others and to make them understand different messages in various situations
• initiate and sustain conversations on familiar subjects
• use diagrams, charts, notes, in order to understand or reproduce written texts or oral messages (conversations, instructions, interviews, speaches)
• use and manipulate technological gadgets
• ccommunicate conclusions and the reasoning that follows them and they were built on
• focuse on long and short term
• use communications as part of the learning process, using appropriate tools (intonation, gestures, mimics, etc.)
• become more solidar and to get involved and solve the problems that are affecting the local community
• ellaborate and implement a project
• develop skills and work in a cooperant and flexible way inside a team
• identify weak points and strong points inside an activity
• evaluate riscs and take chance with riscs in different situations

Our volunteers will have a key role in the implementation of the projects. They will be involved in each stage of the project since they will arrive in Romania in the place where the project will take place.
Furthermore, the organisation will seek advice from them, in order to improve the quality of its actions and to adjust the activities such that they better suit each of them. Also during their EVS stage volunteers will have the possibility to innitiate their own projects in areas and domanis that suits best their interest.
Nevertheless, improvements will be made only as long as they will not alter the final objectives of each project and its indicators.

Volunteers will be involved in activities/projects like:

Project’s Newspaper
This activity will involve the volunteer team in settleing the basis and the concepts of a newspaper of the project. All the volunteers will have as mission to recruit youngsters inside of the project, to write at the newspaper with them. The newspaper will have informations and themes related the life of the volunteers in local communities, form schools, varius events and festivityes and everything that volunteers together with youngsters want to add in.

Manager for a week
Through this activity volunteers will be able to play the role of a manager for a week, take his attributions and part of his tasks. This experience will bring up an important amount in developing and improving managing skills of the volunteers, their ability to take part in decisions and actually to make decisions, making them more organized and more responsible.

International days
For few days, in tents that are placed in one or several areas where volunteers are living and working, they will have to present their country, their traditions, customs, their habits and their food.
Also, in the tent there will be a special place that will have materials with presentations and informations about Youth in Action Programme, the organisations that are involved in the project and also informations about European Union and the concepts that are guideing it.

4. Working with youngsters with disabilities.
5. Creating and playing theatre scenets.
6. Romanian dances
7. Creating videos about Romania, about the project, etc.
