Resumo: The riding club is located in a city with 120 000 inhabitants. In the city there is Iniversity, theatre, cinemas, philharmonic orchestra and 3 museums.

At the airport there is a hotel, restaurant, office and technical buildings of the aeroclub, stables, riding hall with guestrooms of the Riding Club. Two employees live in the club, in addition to housing volunteers.

Both Riding Club and Aeroclub have abouth 200 members together, all in the age between 18 and 30 years. All members take part in their leasure activities on irregular basis depending on their spare time.

Perfil: Nationality, sex, age and education will not be taken into account in the process of accepting the volunteers. Because of specifics of the project which will prepare the volunteer to taking part in riding or hipotherapy instructor course the persons with some experience with horses will be preferred. It will not be the necessary condition because the candidates should not be afraid of horses in the first place.

Due to contact with Mentor (and at the same time with Polish language teacher) it is necessary that the candidate has basic knowledge of German or English or will declare to learn basics of the language in the period before to voluntary works.
The detailed work plans will be presented to the candidate.
age: 18 until 30 years old

Tarefas: The aim of the project is to prepare the volunteer to run riding and hipotherapy lessons and to organise international youth exchange. It will take place in the Riding Club the city, where the riding and hipotherapy lessons and also Polish-German riding-language camps are organised (summer camps and weekend meetings).

The volunteer will help the riding instructor at riding lessons for the Polish youth (and during youth exchange also for the German) and will also help to run the hipotherapy for the disabled from Poland (during Polish-German hipotherapy camps also for Germans).

At the same time the volunteer will attend lessons of the Polish language and also a course of riding which will prepare him for the course in his/her country for riding instructors and hipotherapy aids - so it will help to get a good job.
The experience from the volunteer work will help to organise in future international youth exchange in riding centres.
Language lessons will be given by the Mentor. The lessons will be given depending on the volunteers needs. At the beginning more frequently and later at least 2 times a week.
Apart from language lessons , instructors will give riding lessons which will give the opportunity for the volunteer after returning home to take part in riding instruction course or/and hipotherapist course.

The riding lessons will be given every work day depending on weather conditions in the hall, parcours or in the forest. In the spare time the volunteer may take part in riding lessons for the members of the club.

The Mentor and other members of the Club are open to new ideas created by the volunteer. The Mentor is prepared to help and encourage the volunteer’s creativity. Apart from Mentor the volunteer will be taken care of by other employees of the Club (1 is always present in the stables). Two employees of the Club live at the Club, therefore it is possible to work individually with the volunteers.

Activities of the volunteer
For a volunteer who had already had some experience with horses the activities are natural and will not cause any problems:
‣ help in feeding and taking care of the horses,
‣ preparation of horses for hipotherapy lessons (cleaning, lungeing)
- help in hipotherapy lessons (leading a horse, securing the disabled, help in some exercises)
- leading to and bringing horses from paddocks
- help in riding lessons (bringing horses from paddocks, cleaning, saddling, mounting, control of the instructions given to the students)
- during riding and rehabilitation camps help in organizing leasure activities (bonfires, games)
During all activities the volunteer will be accompanied by an employee or an instructor who will help in case a problem occurs.
