Resumo: Most of association projects are based in Bucharest (the capital of Romania, with 2 millions inhabitants at the present time). Also, there can be different collaborations with other organisations, involving festivals or events that need temporary placement of the volunteer team in other cities. Related to the project, volunteers will have a permanent residence in Bucharest. Being the biggest city in Romania, Bucharest offers it's inhabitants all sorts of socio-cultural activities and events that one needs for personal development and maintaining an updated contact with the world. Also, Bucharest it's the most developed city in Romania. The city grows so much because of a great number of Romanian inhabitants from other cities, minorities and immigrants that migrated here. Bucharest is a complex and diverse environment that mixes together, in a particular manner, the new and the old (form architecture to mentalities) and trough all these aspects, if offers a big cultural challenge to any new comer.
We will find a renting apartment for the volunteer, in one of the popular areas among young people from Bucharest. The apartment will have all the necessary facilities. Also, we will make sure to inform our volunteers upon the options they have for assuring the daily meals. They will have to choose between a partenrship with a university cafeteria or to manage food and supplies on their own in the household.
In respect to thei social needs and requirements, we will provide them mentors that will be in close contact to assure their necesities all the period. Both the team members and mentor will communicate actively with the volunteers in order to keep a well and relaxed ambiance between them and the community.

Perfil: There are no predetermined criteria for an association volunteer, or for an EVS volunteer in the association for that matter; the first thing that he/she should do is to believe and respect the mission and the values of our organisation; she/he should be a person willing to work in a soliciting and provocative environment with a stress potential over average, and she should be drowned to the work methods that we propose. We believe that all the backgrounds of our volunteers consist into learning material for us, as an organisation. This is also valid for the background of the Sending Organisation, as no matter its mission, if the sending volunteer can be consistent with our values and mission, the interaction will help us grow as Romanians and as an NGO.

The projects that we want EVS volunteers for, will be made public on all possible channels of communication (specialised discussion groups, dedicated sites, Face Book, mail groups etc), and all the applicants will be informed about their evolution in the selection process. If there'll be more applications then the number of places available at that moment, we'll accentuate the individual communication with each possible volunteer, in order to investigate more his motivation. Those who will have a stronger, more compatible motivation with our goals and objectives will be selected.

The steps of the selection process for an EVS volunteer are as follows:
- CV and motivation letter
- Skype interview
The aim of the selection process is to give the chance to the volunteers interested in joining a project to show their motivation, to find out about the organization and how can it meet their need so that we have a good collaboration during the project. We also tackle issues like cultural shock, rights and responsibilities of all parts involved in an EVS project etc. The Skype interview is based on some questions that follow an evaluation grid made after specific criteria.

Once the EVS volunteers are selected, the project can be adjusted together with them in order to better respond to their needs, if there will be such a request.

We are also open to the idea of creating new projects with the potential volunteers.
An NGO that functions in the same thematically and methodological area as the association is more than welcome to join us in an experience exchange that will eventually benefit both of our NGO's. However, this is not a selection criteria, the main priority remaining the volunteer, his motivation and his interests

Tarefas: The EVS project will offer the possibility for the volunteers to develop their abilities in the following fields: project management, non-formal education, multimedia, working with disadvantaged youth, time management. They will benefit from trainings about the methods that we currently use: football for social integration, photo-video education, cultural events and urban interventions. They will have access to a photo-video studio and we will offer them technical and informational support.
Also, we will facilitate them the participation in training sessions organized by the National Agency. We will create for them the context to deliver workshops on the methods they work with, we will facilitate access to the activities of other partner organizations we work with.
The volunteer working with us will have a coordinator and a mentor to assist him/her at work and outside of work.
Our association projects include various activities such as football, photography, video making, urban interventions, international projects (youth exchanges, seminars, training courses), Internet blogging, cultural and social events etc. Our volunteers are directly involved in all parts of a project, from conception to its implementation, from promotion to the evaluation and feedback. More specifically, regarding the projects dedicated to football, the volunteer may be the player, coach or organizer of some public event, he can be person responsible for communications or to evaluate and make final report on the event. Also, he can be a photographer, PR assistant or social media expert. In the case of socio-cultural events, which are public events, opened to various kinds of people, the volunteers may be involved in direct interaction with the public. Regarding the training projects, the volunteer can be the main trainer or a co-trainer, the organiser or the adiministrative responsible person.
Each volunteer can get involved in different stages of a project and assume different levels of responsibility, from coordination of a project to the implementation of it as a whole, or just in different aspects, like realising specific actions or activities. This way he can express the potential he wants to activate during his stay and he can integrate the achievements in helping our mission.
