Resumo: The hosting organization is a coorporation under public law and represents approx. 280.000 members in the region of Tyrol. A big number of members are young workers and job seekers. Till now no experience was made in the YIA programme and especially the European Voluntary Service on an institutional level. We have a new person onboard and he has a huge experience in social work and European programmes. He is considered as international recognized expert in YiA and especially EVS.

Many of our young members are facing a challenging reality in the labour market. Especially the access and success of mobility is very limited. With our future involment in EVS we would like to support self-development, cultural awarness and wider understanding of Europe. We would expect a more positive individual pathway trough this life-changing experience.
Our EVS activities would be coordinated by our employee who is an expert in YIA and EVS and supported by all our staff.

The law suggests the Arbeiterkammer to represent the social, economical, professional and cultural interests of employees. By taking EVS activities on board we might be able to stimulate an area of service which was not accessable at this level for young with fewer opportunties..
