Resumo: Project for 11 Volunteers from France, Ghana, Italy, Portugal, Spain, Togo, Turkey and Uganda.

EVS volunteers will help in Life Sport and Outdoor afterschool program for children from classes of 1- 4 elementary school where we encourage and supoport children especially from disadvantaged background to do sport activities on regular basis.

The sport activities are designed to take place during school time 13.00 to 18.00 week days and during summer holidays 10.00 to 15.00.

The project encourage's young people to engage in team / pair indoor and outdoor sports.

Tarefas: - to assist a team of youthworkers in planning, preparing and organising a daily educational sport and outdoor program of 5 hours Monday to Friday for children 6 to 11 years

- promote the sport and outdoor activities in the local community to encourage young people especially from disadvantaged backgrounds (social, economic, minority groups, etc.) even young people with disabilities to participate in our planned activities;

- encourage and support young people involvement as volunteers in the Life Sport and Outdoor afterschool program

- organize workshops in highschools and universities where they can share their experience as EVS volunteers and encourage volunteering

- prepare and offer support to amateur sport teams of children

- organize local sport competitions between amateur sport teams of children from different schools

Horário: - 5 days work / week
- 2 days holidays for every month of service

Condições: We cover the following costs:
. accomodation and meals
. volunteer alowance (pocket money) – 60 Euro / month
. medical insurance for entire service period
