Resumo: Our project is taking place mostly in the area. Distance between those two towns is 20 km. . In its heyday in early 17th century was a town with great cultural, economic and intellectual potential. At present the population of the tonw is approximately 63 000 and it is still a town of tolerance and openness just like centuries ago. However, despite the big amount of schools and numerous cultural centres/youth centres there is still poor variety of different activities.

Similar situation is in Wschowa. This town is smaller than the town. Population there is approximately 14 500. The biggest problem in Wschowa area, is high rate of unemployment, which currently stands at around 16 % Because of good bus connection - all volunteers will stay in the town (to have acces to restaurants, pubs, discos, cinema, etc)
By our action we would like to convince the local society that cultural events can both develop sensitivity and unite different groups of people. This idea stems in a way from social exclusion

These results in many economical and social concerns (e.g. lack of cultural life and youth facilities, lack of tourist facilities, etc.). There is a lack of youth facilities, resulting in limited options for young people in how to spend their leisure time. This lack of creativity increases the need for more cultural and sports activities. There are many groups of young people in the region, containing people with interests in theatre, music, dancing, sports etc. However it is critical that they have adequate support and options to further development of their interests.

Perfil:  Speak good English
There can be communication problem if the volunteer doesn’t speak English well. This is the most important criterion and your English language capabilities might be checked if you are preselected to do EVS in the town. German speaking volunteer is more then welcome.
