Resumo: EVS volunteers will help in Life Sport and Outdoor afterschool program developed by the foundation for children from classes of 1- 4 elementary school where we encourage and supoport children especially from disadvantaged background to do sport activities on regular basis. The sport activities are designed to take place during school time 13.00 to 18.00 week days and during summer holidays 10.00 to 15.00.
The project encourage's young people to engage in team / pair indoor and outdoor sports.

The volunteer, have to be motivated to implement the tasks defined in his/her EVS project, the volunteer have to have basic knowledge of the English language, willing to work in an intercultural environment, open to work with young people coming from different cultural, economic or social background.
In order to ensure open and transparent recruitment process for the EVS volunteers the foundation is promoting the EVS opportunities on various e-groups, e-newsletters, forums and in continues work with established partner organisations.

The selection process of the EVS volunteer in the foundation is based on the CV and Motivation letter, usually using our own documents. In order to ensure open and equal chance to all the applicants, the application forms are evaluated by a 3 person team. Applicants will receive support in understanding the questions in the motivation letter and the tasks we expect EVS volunteers to do.

Usually in the selection process applicants are participating in skype interviews in English performed by our youthworkers.

Tarefas: • to assist a team of youthworkers in planning, preparing and organising a daily educational sport and outdoor program of 5 hours Monday to Friday for children 6 to 11 years from the town
• promote the sport and outdoor activities in the local community to encourage young people especially from disadvantaged backgrounds (social, economic, minority groups, etc.) even young people with disabilities to participate in our planned activities;
• encourage and support young people from the community involvement as volunteers in the Life Sport and Outdoor afterschool program
• organize workshops in highschools and universities in where they can share their experience as EVS volunteers and encourage volunteering
• prepare and offer support to amateur sport teams of children
• organize local sport competitions between amateur sport teams of children from different schools
