Resumo: The hosting organization is a social cooperative (sector A: services for people, social-health-educational), a no profit organization that has been working in Turin since 1986.
It works in the social sector and its activities have the aims to promote the wellbeing (socialization, animation activities and educational support) of the people we work for (disable people, children local groups) and to prevent situations as risk. The objectives of the different services are carried out following the methodology of the community development.

The main areas of our EVS project are: DISABILITY (management of social therapy daily centres for disables -group and individual activities- where we work for their education and rehabilitation to give them support and work for their social inclusion especially in the city area where they live); INFANT AREA ( 0-6 years old: baby parkings, nursery centers, playrooms for families and their babies); ANIMATION AND SOCIAL THEATRE (theatrical projects directed to educative actions with local groups and theatrical workshops experiences for disable people of our centers)

SERVICES FOR DISABLE PEOPLE: Throughout the mean of socialisation and active personal participation, the volunteer can discover a different world rich of inputs, knowing the field of social care and improving or challenging his own skills, competences or simply make a completely new social and life experience. The project proposal is to include volunteers in one or more different educational service/s working with mentally and or physically disable children-young- adult people with slight or strong compromission. The volunteer will support the organisation to offer more opportunities of amusement and well - being to the persons we support. The general objectives of the project are: the knowledge of the social cooperation and health care sectors, the sharing of relational and educational experience, integration with the target group and the staff; theorical and practical training to know their capacities, the others and the environment; experiment and development of their competences; active participation in the different and creative activities for disable people that change depending on the center/centers where he is volunteering. The services will be carry out in a daily time (central time, morning or afternoon) during the week, from Monday to Friday.

Perfil: Boy
Age: 18 until 30 years old
It is important that the volunteer is an open-minded person, flexible and interested to develop youth participation, to take initiative adapting to the context trying to develop his potential. We ask the volunteer to be honest in the human relationships, serious during the project process, active participation in the implementation of the project and a constructive relationship with the organisation.

Tarefas: Establish a relationship with disable people; participate and collaborate with the staff in the leading of artistic and expression workshops (ceramics, painting, theater, music…) and in the scholastic support if necessary; accompaniment in excursions and visits in the museums, parks, cultural events and in the summer holidays if organised by the services; supporting disable people in the moment of arrival and departure moments before/after activities; propose his own activities (workshops) as personal contribution to the activities; record the EVS experience through photoes and video to give visibility to the EVS experience
