Resumo: The host organization is located in the eastern part of the Šaleška Valley at 396m above sea-level.
Our Center collaborates with many other institutions, centers, clubs, associations, and businesses. Among them, are the School Center, and the Municipality, which is its founder. Allow us to mention some of our partners: the Festival, the Sports Recreational Association, Rdeèa dvorana , Velenje Gallery, Library, the Public Fund for Cultural Activities, the Student Club of Šaleška Valley, the Handball Club Gorenje, the Society Tehnologika, the Bosnian Youth Cultural Society, and others.
We actively cooperate in the organization of the Pika Festival, the Floristika competition, the European Culture Capital 2012 project, the International Open Ping-Pong Championship, the Days of the Young and Culture, etc. We stay socially and economically open to, and connected with, businesses like Gorenje, the Coal Mine, and Esotech, and we envision possible furhter cooperation with the Kunigunda Regional Multimedia Center.
Perfil: - less-advantaged volunteers from areas with geographical, economic, and cultural differences

- adaptability, and teamwork,
- age: 18 until 30 years old.
Tarefas: - help with the Festival of Young Cultures and other festivals, which are all staples on the schedule. The volunteers would enrich these projects with their ideas, as well as with their creativity. Their tasks would depend on their capabilities, interests, and motivation. Socialization, meeting new people, informal learning combined with practical teamwork are an excellent combination and a wonderful legacy for a young person, peronally and profesionally.
- preparing and developing different multimedia and communication projects (animation, short films, flyers, posters, brochures, making CDs and DVDs) in their own language, English and perhaps Slovene.
- Collaborating and including volunteers into the local communities and international projects.
- Cooperation with the group of the town volunteers, which has many references in Slovenia and organizes projects, such as Apples for Cigarettes, promoting a healthy way of life. In exchange for cigarettes, volunteers offer apples.
Typical creative volunteer activities include photography, filmmaking, directing, creating, acting, performing, and organizing workshops and seminars. All of the above activities give us a multicultural accent, and contribute to our informal education.
Horário: Pika's festival is in september, Kunigunda's festival is in august, so these are the projects that are still comming. Meaby we can say something about the sceduale: Every day from Monday untill Thursday we have an afthernoon centre with young people , doing different workshops for them. In the summer time we are prepairing workshops in the park for smaller children. In the mornings volunteers have the time to have slovenian lessons tvice a week for two hours, and also do project in multimdedia, on Friday the work will be in Kunigunda multimnedia centre.
Also in the summer times activities are a little bit different becouse everybody goes to vaications, but also we think that if the volunteers are here for one year, they can not experience everything in one month, they need more time. We will also have a skype conversation with another volunteer that is comming. We are also expecting on the 22nd two turkish boys, so I can tell you how are they feeling here when they will start to work.

MONDAY
BEFORE NOON Learning slovenian language in the andragogical institute of Ljudska univerza, . (2 hours).
AFTHERNOON Evaluation and discussion about Youthpass. Preparing hers/his own custom activities for Afthernoon youth center. (6 hours).
TUESDAY
Working in a Regional multimedia center Kunigunda (help at the desk, and in that way also learning the language, through conversation with a mentor 6-8 hours).
WEDNESDAY
BEFORE NOON Learning slovenian language in the andragogical institude of Ljudska univerza, Velenje. (2 hours).
AFTHERNOON Coverage of various events in the Youth centre Velenje, also activities (exhibitions, musical events, concerts, login, theatrical performances) when they take place (6 hours).
THURSDAY
Workshop on the folklore of the volunteer with jewelry making ethnological and ethno music of the country from which the volunteer is coming. (8 hours).
FRIDAY
Working in multimedia centre Kunigiunda (writing blog, wich is also weekley evaluation, time for prepairing her/his own project). (6 - 8 hours)
SATURDAY FREE TIME
AFTHERNOON Helping with concerts, theatrical performances (sometimes with multimedia coverage of events) If the volunteer is working on Saturday he/she is free one day of the week by arrangement.
SUNDAY FREE TIME
AFTHERNOON Volunteers will have the possibility to take advantage of amenities that are available in the city, a free tour of musical, theatrical events in the Festival Velenje, working with associations such as: Cave club, scouts,…-depending on the interest of volunteer for these activities.

Formação: Volunteers will have a chance to learn the Slovene language. Slovene classes will be organized in cooperation with Andragoškim zavodom Ljudska univerza (The People's University for Continuing Education), 3 times a week, 1.5 hours per class for the whole length of their stay in the town.
