Resumo: The town covering 157 km2 of land, situated in the center of Lithuania, at the confluence of two rivers. Population comprises 34 8635 residents, at the moment it is one of the most dense cities. The city is important industry, transport, science and culture center: there are 8 universities, a lot of museums, theatres and other cultural objects. There are lots of young people from other Lithuanian cities and foreign countries coming here through students' exchange programs.

Due to convenient geographical situation the town has good highway connections with other important centers of Lithuania and foreign states. The city has developed air transport and train connections: there is international airport close to the town and railway unit in the center.

The town has many green areas: parks, coppices convenient for resting, hiking or simply for a walk. Due to its geographical situation, cultural features the town is becoming resting place for travelers, attracts tourists.

The organization is situated in one of the biggest living districts. From here it takes only 5 min to reach the center and 10 min to get to the old town. It is convenient to reach any part of the town with public transport. Near the place there is oak tree forest, where you can take a walk, do sports or simply to have fresh air.

Perfil: We would prefer volunteer, who is familiar with climbing sports, practicing and who is physically strong. Yet we also welcome volunteers, who are not familiar with climbing sport yet, but would like to know more and try him/her self, to practice and assist other people, who would like to join activities of our organization.

It is important that volunteer would be communicative and easy going, because everyday we meet people of various age and characters.

It would be great if volunteer would know how to communicate with kids, would be relaxed and willing to play with them. It is also important that person would not be afraid to encounter problematic youth, would be interested to help them in solving their problems and find things in common.

Our organization will welcome people, who want to learn new things, who are flexible and tolerant.
We would like to introduce candidate with this information in advance, and get in contact before his/her arrival.

Age: 18 until 30 years old

Tarefas: We can offer unusual, creative work surrounding favorable for personal growth. We will provide volunteer with opportunity to take part in the trainings of other NGOs, to improve working in a group, organizational skills, to work and communicate with children and youth. The volunteer will be able to implement his/her own ideas with the help of coordinator, if there will be a wish - to do sports in climbing hall, to take part in cultural events, trips and hikes with friendly staff. In addition, from September 2011 we are opening the second climbing hall open to trainings, which means we are going to have trainings everyday and more activities in general.

The staff at the organization is friendly, sincere, interested in active leisure time, healthy lifestyle, organizing and also taking part in cultural events, trainings. During a year our organization arranges many competitions, cultural, educational events, where volunteer will be able to join and help in organizational tasks. Volunteer will be able to offer his/her own idea for event and we will help to arrange it. Our organization is open space for development of new ideas.

It is possible to communicate in English, German, French and Russian languages, which is important at the very beginning of volunteers' life here. Our collective has different attitudes to life, different hobbies, which we share with each other, exchange our experiences and broaden our horizons. We are open and tolerant therefore we are waiting for people with various backgrounds and expecting to exchange our experiences, to introduce to our lifestyle, culture, traditions and learn their ones.

- Call for new members by visiting schools, talking about trainings we provide, climbing sports, to present activities of our organization; It is foreseen to visit 20 schools;
- Children selection for trainings;

October
- Preparation of the climbing competition for beginners and participating;
- Preparation for the movie nights and participating;
- Children and adults training;
- Preparation for the IV Lithuanian Bouldering Cup (LBC) stage;
- Taking part in IV LBC stage with the kids;

November
- Preparation of the climbing competition for beginners and participating;
- Preparation for the movie nights and participating;
- Children and adults training;
- Organization of the V LBC stage at the organization;
- V LBS stage competition;
- Participating in competition with kids in Vilnius;
- Organiziation of Halloween party at the organization;

December
- Preparation of the climbing competition for beginners and participating;

- Children and adults training;
- Organization of the VI LBC stage at the organization;
- Participating in competition with kids VI LBC stage in Klaip?da;
- Trip together with children to competition taking place in Tallin;
