Resumo: The Association is housed in a Venetian villa currently allowed in usufruct by Caritas in Padua.
The house offers different services:
- Host community for people in disadvantage
- Spaces for aggregation (rooms, bar, garden) that the local community can use;
- A rehearsal music room and recording system for bands.
The association may accept groups of EVS volunteers in the home, thanks to private bedrooms and common areas (such as kitchen, dining room and garden, to be shared with the guests of the community). Volunteers are asked to cooperate in the daily running of the community and to follow a few simple rules, such as compliance with meal times, participation in the lunch shifts and cleanings. The control of the place is guaranteed throughout day and night, thanks to the constant presence of operators and/or volunteers. The other rules for the volunteers are communicated and agreed with their tutor.

Tarefas: The European volunteers will collaborate in these activities:
- assistance in the programming and implementation of activities for entertainment of leisure time for people with disabilities and member of the Association (cultural evenings, meetings, theatre course, technical and artistic creativity course, parties, Sunday outings, holidays, music room's activities …)
- guidance for those who express interest in making an experience abroad, where volunteers can tell their stories;
- daily services within the group: preparing lunch, cleaning of premises, help in gardening, grocery shopping;
- participation in the stays organized by the Association for people in social distress, occasions where the volunteers will be invited to get involved directly to liven up the days;
- cooperate in carrying out administrative activities: of the Association: membership, preparation of materials for parties and meetings, reception and orientation of users, etc.;
- promote the activities of the Association and the opportunities for young people, such as the National Civil Service and the European Voluntary Service and other opportunities offered by European Commission for young people., in schools, village festivals, in libraries or youth information centres;
- activation of courses for young people of the area (language, tandem, or courses that involved specific skills or expertise of the volunteer like cooking, art, etc. ..) to create a real intercultural dialogue and to promote the countries culture of origin.

The volunteer will also be in the context of a well-developed local network (the Association is housed in 2 Local Area Coordination of Youth Organizations - APG RIVIERA and Youth Policies and Coordination in the Mirano territory - and it collaborates with local authorities and many associations in the area). This network will provide an opportunity to the volunteer to learn more about the local context in which took part his service: so with help of operators and mentors he can incubate his choices and strategies to provide his own personal contribution to the territory, especially in terms of exchange of ideas, points of view and knowledge that he bring. Intercultural exchange becomes a fundamental part of the service and permeates the activities that the volunteer will play, so that the Association and the volunteer may initiate a virtuous circle in which cultural difference leads to an open and positive discussion.
As mentioned above, the activities will be monitored and supported by operators and volunteers of the Association, so that the experiences and expertises could be a useful path even at the end of the volunteer service and possibily in a future internship or job.
Thanks to the path that will be built by the Association and the volunteer, the volunteer will have the opportunity to develop all the skills and knowledge provided by Youthpass (the final certificate that the Association will release):
- learning to learn: the formal and non -formal learning that characterized the days of the volunteer and the interpretations offered by operators and mentor will help the volunteer to have is own methodology to obtain the input and the teachings of which will benefit every day;
