Resumo: This Danish town of Region of Southern Denmark with a population of 7,685. It is the main town and the administrative seat of the Municipality.

The Municipality offers many possibilities to tourists and inhabitants. It is famous for the National Park, established in 2010, which is a unique conservation area with international impact for millions of migratory birds. In the National Park you will find the biggest mammals of the country, countless fish, small animals and plants which are only to be found in the Wadden Sea.

The town is also known for its three day folk music festival in August.

Perfil: We are looking for an English speaking person who finds it inspiring and giving to be around children and who might wish to work with children in the future. We are very flexible as a workplace and value diversity both regarding our children and in the group of staff.

Since working with children in Denmark requires a police clearance, the volunteer will be asked to bring one.
Age: 18 until 30 years old

Tarefas: Through a stay at the hosting organization, the volunteer will get an overall insigth into a typical danish institution. Furthermore he/she will get specific knowledge of educational activities such as outdoor activities, art and creative activities e.t.c.

The volunteer will be expected to take part in our daily life and the existing activities and traditions of the institution, but he/she will also have the opportunity to contribute with new projects and activities.

We would also like the voluntere to share his/her country’s traditions with the children and thus give them an insight of another culture.
