Resumo: The organization is situated in the centre. This is a town of 120.000 inhabitants in the region of North-East Hungary, 250 km far away from the capital, Budapest. The town is a progressive city with regard to its infrastructure and its education: it has more secondary schools and a college acknowledged nationwide. The organization, on the one hand, is a community place with daily programs and free computer use, on the other hand, a non-profit association whose aims are to improve the cultural life and the community of young people.

A diversity of young people visit the organization, such as children from ethnic minorities, young people with fewer opportunities, but well educated youngsters also - all of age groups between 10 to 30. We try to provide personalized facilities to all of them. The organization has a 300 m2 floorspace building (here in 7 rooms) and a small park (garden). One of the premises is the office of management, the EVS volunteer will have its own desk, up-to-date computer with Internet-linking and the volunteers can use the other equipment of the office, for example: copier, fax, scanner or telephone.

Perfil: We like to receive a volunteer who is creative and assists in our work and in our programs with pleasure. Our volunteers can work in separately and in a team. They are supposed to be interested in the field of media. Professional and technical experience is not required. The recriutment process: We publish the invitation on international forums, we use the database of Eurodesk and other international databases. In the recruitment process we also use our international relationships gained.
Age:18 until 30 years old

Tarefas: The volunteers working in the Mustár Rádió (small communities radio that you can listen in the city on the 89.6 Mhz and you can listen on the internet, to the next website: www.mustarhaz.hu). The volunteers making and editing radio programs. They make and edit the next programmes:
1) Language lesson: the volunteers speak in their mother language. They talking about a topic that they chose and the speak in their mother tongue.

2) Point of View: the volunteers speak about serious topics (for example: youth policy, school system, exchange programmes, environment, intercultural dialogue, 2010 the european year of the combating poverty and social exclusion) with each other in English language with Hungarian translation.

3) Free: the volunteers speak about free and youthful topics (for example: habits, marriage, "Our trip in Europe") with each other in English language with Hungarian translation. They say about their opinion about these kind of topics.

4) Experience the world: our volunteer make radio interview in their mother tongue or English language. They usually speak with famous people. For example: famous pop bands.

Next to this, they collecting information, making reports and interviews, editing and presenting the programme - including the technical task as well (technical skills are not required).
They also write articles on the NYIL Youth Magazine.

We are participants in some festivals and our volunteers can make different activities in the summer, for example the AzFest or an nationwide art festival which is organized in every year in the town, the name of this festival is Vidor Festival. The tasks are: preparation of the scene of the programme, developing the activities with own ideas.

Participation in the organizing cultural programmes and in the everyday activities of the organization, such as: making hobby workshops for children of 3-7; organizing free-time activities for youngsters of 12-25 (sport, art, culture...); organizing cultural programmes: our association has several major programmes every year: Amateur Music Festival, Midsummer Night, Performance Festival, International Children and Youth Folklore Festival and Christmas handicraft week. Besides our own programmes we also assist in youth festivals in Hungary
