Resumo: The hosting organization is located in the centre of the region. Together with surrounding country territory has its population with 5500 inhabitants. The town is located near capital of Latvia - Riga and it means that there are many private houses.

From Riga to the town goes public transport - bus and train. By bus this trip take appoxemetly 30 min and cost 1 Eur and by train it takes 40 min and cost 1.3 EUR. From bus and train stop till school and also apartments need app. 7 min.

As in all Latvia, here in the town is in continuous development process and now the main focus is tour on development of culture, education, tourism, market networks as well as to create good environment for business development and international collaboration. Municipality, schools and other establishments are offering different activities for everyone as culture, art, sport and others.

In workingdays internet is available in school.

Perfil: We would like to host volunteer who:
- are interested working mostly with kids of age 5 to 7,
- Wants to work in collective,
- Are interested in Latvian language and culture,
- Like to be creative, active and show enthusiasm.
There is no any gender, age, race, skin color, regilious or political belonging limitations.
Information about project and possibilities to participate in it will be accessible in EVS data base where it will be available for every young people in age on 18-30 years.

Recruitment process will be:
Every volunteer can apply via e-mail by writing to our contactperson. Than we will ask to send to us CV with photo and to fill special designed application form. After it we will make interviews with candidates via skype or telephone and perhaps also with sending organization.
We will be also in contact with volunteer via e-mail, skype, facebook, telephonw while writing project, so to make sure, that project is suitable for volunteer.

Tarefas: By working in preschool educational class volunteer will have a chance to spend 6-12 months in project creatively and dynamically, meet and create a contacts with crew and kids, see the difference between Latvian and Russian culture, learn Latvian and Russian. Latvian language training will be provided, Russian language can be learned by local inhabitants and pupils.

For volunteers we can offer different possibilities and learning opportunities, such as:
- Participation in organizing everyday life, take care of children, help them in everyday work - eat, play, doing sport activities etc.;
- To help children to learn, for example, English language, handiwork, sport and other activities,
- To involve in administrative work of class and together with others plan and implement activities, use own resources (knowledge, contacts etc.);
- To realize own initiative ideas and to offer new activities for kids and others;
- Together with others to participate in different activities offering by other institutions / organizations in local, national and international level.

In professional level we are offering to get professional knowledge and good experience in social work, pedagogy, psychology, musicology, health care and sport fields as well as other spheres depending on preschool educational institution needs. As well we will involve volunteer in English lessons in primary and secondary forms, as well there will be opportunity for volunteer to organize different afterschool activities with primary and secondary forms pupils.

The role of volunteers in preschool educational class everyday work will be very important because children who attend this institution will spend a lot of time together with volunteers. Volunteer will help in teachers work and will be authors of creative ideas to organizing different activities.

Mutual understanding desire to be together will guarantee successful project implementation. Volunteers will be part of staff and the one who will show to other people different culture, traditions and extensive world and trough that develop their self-assurance, diminish stereotypes against to different nationalities. This is very important for primary and secondary forms pupils.

The volunteers would be involved in different activities which will be connecting with everyday work and with separate self initiative project implementation. Duty of volunteer will be practical and educational:
- participate and help teachers in games and lessons with children,
- prepare lessons and materials for activity,
- involve in music lessons. Volunteer can bring his/her native songs and games and teach it's to children in his/her language.
- Prepare festivals, for example, Christmas, Easter, Mother day etc: Volunteer can teach songs, dances and prepare exhibitions. We will support volunteer's experience and ides where will find expression of his/her native culture and traditions.
- Volunteer will also expected to take part of other practical activities: to assist to dress kids for going out; collect toys or books after plays or lessons; help kids before and after mid-day sleep and during their meals. We will support creative ideas of volunteer in daily activities un different celebrations.
- volunteer will be involved also in English lessons for primary and secondary forms pupils. There is also possibility to teach own language to pupils and teachers.

- volunteer will have possibility to organize different afterschool activities with and for primary and secondary school pupils.

Horário: On Preschool educational programme timetable is:
7 a.m. till 8 a.m. kids arriving
8:30 a.m. breakfast
9:00 classes: music, visual art, manual training, mathematics, native language.
11.00 a.m. airing
12.00 a.m. lunch
1 p.m. till 3p.m. midday repose
3:30 p.m. afternoon snack
4 p.m. till 7 p.m. individual classes, games and hobby group.

On primary and secondary educational programme English lessons is 40min long. Afterschool activities is organized in the afternoon. Always mentored by professional.
Volunteer will work 30-35 hours per week. Mostly from Monday - Friday.
