Resumo: In the near future the organization is scheduled to host volunteers in the Association, who will form part of a larger multidisciplinary team and take part of our projects.
The projects of the association has been developing so far are local, in the city and vicinity.


Like the rest of Spain, this town is no stranger to the phenomenon of immigration, although as with other parts of Extremadura number of born in another country and living in Spain is still far from those reached by other areas of Spain.

The town is a top tourist destination, within the autonomous region, given the monumental and historic city and its proximity

Perfil: - Youth between 18 and 30 from all parts of Europe and neighboring countries.
- Motivation and interest in the organization and development of physical and sports activities and leisure.
- Young people with a certain maturity and sense of responsibility and compromise, wanting to work in a team. It is important that thevolunteer is a person with capacity to exercise active listening and empathy.

Information "vacancy" for an EVS project
1. Through a mailing to contact of EUEXIA: reporting the type of activity, duration, starting dates and volunteer profiles, reporting also the deadline for sending nominations.
2. Through the European network of contact between YouthNetworks organizations.
3. Youth who present their candidacy spontaneously by phone, email or have found the description of the organization on the basis of EU data from which we intend to join.

We are open to working with all sending organizations countries to ensure adequate training and preparation to the volunteer since she/he is in search of project. We prefer that the sending organization making the application of volunteer.

Tarefas: During the EVS project in EUEXIA, the volunteer selected will have the opportunity to:
- Learn the realities and ways of working with young people in Spain.
- To acquire training on the tasks and the educational role of people and professionals working through the integration of sport and inclusion of different population groups.
- Know the resources and institutions in the field of sport and fiscal activity in Extremadura, Spain and Europe.
- To acquire knowledge on the practical implementation of projects and methodology of the organization, to progressively develop their own ideas and personal projects.
- Opportunity to contribute to an educational project.
- Opportunity to share educational experiences, life, education, and more. And understanding the richness of cultural diversity.
- Further topics related to social (gender, disability, voluntary) and sports.
- Learn the Spanish language.
- Personal development in their autonomy and empowerment of social values.

Role of the Volunteer
The activity carried by the voluntary selected will be framed within the regular activities of the association and they will always be supporting by professionals of EUEXIA. Their actions are intended to give added value to the usual action, so we’ll give a lot of value of personal initiative. All activities will always be agreed with the motivations of the volunteers and will give them the space and time so they can develop their personal project.

Activities
The volunteer will assist in the following areas (assessing their personal qualities and adapting their interests to activities undertaken in the current year):
1. communication:
- Cooperation in developing the association's monthly newsletter which will include interviews, to publicize events, news of interest about organizations, volunteerism, cooperation, lobbying, political, sports, studies, statistics, proposals, projects, etc..
- Development of promotional materials for youth of the Youth in Action projects undertaken by EUEXIA.
- Relationship with newspapers and local radio.
2. Volunteer Programs,Training and Networking:
- Support activities EUEXIA performed with national and international volunteers. (Placeat work camp)
- Participation in the organization and development and information diffusion activities of the European Voluntary Service program and other programs.
3. Local Activities:
- Development of local training activities: workshops proposition own initiative in relation to sport and physical activities.
- Workshops conversation in English or their native language to young people / adults in the local community at the headquarters of the association and / or in collaboration with public libraries in the local community.
- Participation in public events in representation of the entity.
4. Administrative Support Activities:
- Support in the normal activities of the office focused on those activities that the volunteer need to develop he/hisr proposals that we have been mentioning in previous sections (especially in the preparation phase of the activity)
5. Development of a personal project (individual or in group) that promotes young people's development of social values by using sport as a tool.
6. Information and advice on EVS and European programs
7. Information and advice on youth employability abroad.

Horário: The activity of the volunteers will take place 5 days a week, Monday through Friday, in morning, from 10.00 h to 16.00 h and have the weekends off (2 consecutive days, Saturday and Sunday) and 2.5 days off per month. At some point in time, for needs assistance activities will be required outside these hours as exceptional and giving then the corresponding free time.
The maximum weekly collaboration will be 35 hours per week.
