Resumo: The hosting organization is situated in a town in northeastern Bulgaria, situated on the shores of the Black Sea and the town Lake. It is also the administrative center of the municipality and district. This is a town with an overall population of 334,870 people, which makes it the third largest town in Bulgaria, one of the largest town in North Bulgaria and the largest town on the Bulgarian Black Sea coast, as a whole. The town has four major universities where home students and students from abroad are taught .

The town keeps the oldest golden treasure in the world. The town is often called the"sea capital" or the"summer capital of Bulgaria", and is an important tourist and cultural center.

Amongst the international cultural events held in the town are The Summer festival, Love is crazy, The Golden Dolphin, August in Art, Videoholica and others. This makes the town vibrant and attractive place for young people. The town has several museums, ancient Greek artefacts dating back to 3-4 century BC, a necropolis and others. The town has a dramatic theater, a puppet theater for children and a private theater.

Depending on the preferences and abilities of the voluntary team, day trips to the nearby tourist destinations can be arranged in order to explore Bulgarian customs, culture and history.

Perfil: A volunteer who will act to EVS should be motivated to work with children and young people who have been subjected to violence. The Foundation will accept volunteers who have a social attitude and are open to work with needy families.

We are eager to accept volunteers from ethnic minorities as well.
The Foundation’s Team will objectively view and discuss the applications of all candidates. Our priority will be volunteers who are motivated to work in the social sphere. W will not take into account their ethnic group, religion or gender.

We would like to partner organizations that work on the issues of domestic violence, human trafficking and sexual health, as well as with those whose work focuses on planning leisure time or on any kind of art. The organizations which will partner us have to share the belief that people with disabilities have the same rights as others and to work for the protection of the rights of children and families at risk. We would like our partners to have a social experience so that we can have the opportunity to share experiences, build best practices and partnerships.

Tarefas: The Foundation offers a variety of activities that volunteers can participate in. A volunteer can choose where to participate according to their interests. We actively work towards planning the leisure time of children and young people regardless of their ethnic origin. Our activities are related to informal education in dance, art, cooking and Applied Arts - making cards and figures from waste paper and production of imitation jewelery. We also put our efforts into providing English teaching for everyone who is interested. Volunteers will have the opportunity to be actively involved in the planning and implementation of initiatives and to participate in the preparation of our annual campaigns -"16 World days against violence against women", "European Day against Human Trafficking", "Youth Day", "Anti-AIDS" and others. Volunteers will be able to participate in the development and production of brochures, leaflets, posters and banners. In the beginning, the volunteer will have the opportunity to observe the methods of working with customers in order to choose an initiative to take up. At a later stage of EVS youth themselves will be encouraged to develop their own projects and ideas. At all stages of their voluntary service, the volunteers will be trained and will not take the full responsibility for certain motion or task. During their stay at the organisation, the volunteer will interact with children and young people from different ethnic backgrounds including a minority one. Volunteers will have the opportunity to enrich their knowledge to approach differently their life and culture and want to learn Bulgarian.
