Resumo: The youth education centre is a registered organisation of youth work. As an educational institution with more than 240 beds we offer a huge capacity for hosting youth groups, youth organisations and educational associations. The youth education center provides numerous possibilities of educational and leisure programs together with the coordinating organization for sport. We offer a qualitative educational program in the field of the extracurricular youth education to youngsters and young adults as well as youth workers and social workers. Various projects of education, leisure, sport and free-time activities can be realized at the large outdoor area, in the middle of pine forest.

Perfil: The volunteer should be motivated for activities of youth work in an educational institution, for hosting groups as well as working and living in a rural area. They should be able to fulfill tasks independently, to work on projects by cooperating and being guided by the employees of the organiszation as well as have the curiosity to acquire new skills and abilities. There is the possibility to work with new media and in the area of the environment and adventure education. The volunteers should have solid basic German knowledge to be able to communicate with the employees of the organization and the guests. The volunteers should be open minded and have an interest in the work with children and youth groups

Tarefas: There are various possibilities for volunteer, in outdoor activities in the work with youth groups, as well as in the area of organization, preparations and execution of international projects and in the reception. The volunteer can realize their own projects due to their abilities. They will also be trained (e.g. to acquire a certificate for youth group leaders). After appropriate trainings they are able to work also in the outdoor area (climbing, canoe etc). On one hand, they would have their own areas of responsibility and projects on which they work and, on the other hand, they would assist the employees of the educational area. They can also work in the PR activities. / Tasks: Education: collaboration in projects of the youth education, international youth meetings, office work, care of youth groups, public relations, documentation; Reception: reception of groups, key issue, phone service, showing the area; Administration: support at post, flyers etc.; Outdoor: support at the watersport area, climbing, sporthall
