A very special climate of our city is created, among others, by the restaurants and pubs situated mainly on the ground-floors and in the cellars of the tenement houses along the promenade. In summer the restaurateurs and pub owners have outdoor gardens open till late at night. In the evenings the city is vibrant with life - owing to a multitude of inhabitants and tourists filling the promenade. In the vicinity of the university campus there are many student clubs where the students' nightlife goes on. It is here that the phenomenon of the Cabaret Region of the town originated. In the Palm House, a restaurant situated on the top of the Wine Hill that is unique even on the European scale, one can enjoy a wide culinary offer, have a cup of coffee or just have a good time. And all this among the tropical vegetation. The magic of the place is further enhanced by aquaria with exotic fish and turtles.
