Resumo: The hosting organizatio is a school institution which offers the possibility for the children and youth in the town to spend their free time by the informal educational activities specialised in sport, culture, dancing, teaching languages, anti-drug movement (clubs, non-formal groups, trainings and courses). They take place mostly in afternoon. They are visited mostly by children and youth aged 6-20. We organised various trips, competitions, periodic events on different topics (Christmas, Easter...), single-day activities during holidays, camps for children and youth.

Perfil: age: 18 until 30 years old

Tarefas: We have some experiences with EVS because we are in a close contact with non-government organistaion which is one of the first institutions which have worked with volunteers.

Some of their volunteers also regularly participate in the activities in our centre. We have very goodn experience with them. They brought the innovation and creativity to our work, intercultural contribution to the youth and children. We expect that the new volunteers can bring other new experience, skills and knowledge to our culture and work and we hope that they will be enriched by our culture and work by themselves. It will break stereotypes and gives a lot of opprtunities to volunteers to visit interesting places, meet a lot of young people from our region and to get language skills in Slovak.
