Resumo: We want to offer young people the opportunity to visit an institution (circus group) in another country. And we have several great experiences with hosting young people from Romania, France and Germany and would like to continue this as we believe it is very valuable for our organisation. On the other hand we think it is very valuable and enriching for young people to participate in international projects. This international experience will benefit them in the future and contribute to a better European corporation in the future.

Perfil: The distribution of working hours will by divided into the following categories:
-Assisting the daily classes
-Working on the road (circus workshops etc.)
-Administrative work (administrative work, costume managing, managing circus material, media managing)
-Dutch classes
-Personal training of circus skills.
-age: 18 until 30 years old

Tarefas: The role of the volunteer will be focussed on assisting in the pedagogic activities of hosting organization. We want our volunteer to learn a pedagogic approach in teaching circus so they have an opportunity to develop their teaching skills and become familiar with a range of different teaching methods. The volunteer will work together with experienced teachers in our circus school. In the beginning the role of the volunteer will be limited so they can become familiar with the organisation and our working methods. The volunteer will make a personal schedule together with their supervisor. They will assist in different circus classes and learn from the other teachers. Towards the end of the project, they will take on more responsibilities during the circus classes. The volunteer will work mainly with children from 6 till 18 years old but occasionally will be required to work with adults or toddlers. The volunteer will also participate in trainers meetings and other group meetings to evaluate the weekly classes and workshops.

Horário: The volunteer will typically work between 30-35 hours a week, mostly during the afternoons and evenings. Language lessons are included in these 30-35 hours. The volunteer will work 5 days a week.
