Resumo: Our local cultural centre that is organising cultural, art and sport activities for children (aged 5-18). There are following group and circle of hobbies that are taking place: art, music, modelling, dance and teathe circle, european club and sports club: ski, karate, swimming, horse riding, mountain-clubbing, shooting and cycling. Apart from that organises excursion, holiday camps, sport competitions and afternoon outdoor activities. In some of them disabled chidren are participating the organization is also dealing with rehabilitations and hipoteraphy.
Perfil: - age: 18 until 30 years old

- can’t be allergic to horses and can’t be afraid of them.
Tarefas: The volunteer will participate in the occupational therapy for both disabled children and teenagers, aged from 4 to 21, having
the opportunity to work with them and observe the results of therapy by using horses.
His tasks will be leading the horse during hippotherapy , safeguarding the child sitting on the horse, helping in cleaning ,
saddling up and doing all necessary assistance in stable works.
The volunteer will always work together with the coach (teacher) because of the specii¬city of the work with the disabled person.
The works in the stable will be also supervised by coaches . With the passage of time, and with acquiring the necessary skills
the decision will be taken if the volunteer is able to carry out the stable works independently.
The holiday centers are equipped with football pitches, volleyball courts, basketball i¬elds, horse riding centre and
cycling route. There, apart from having fun and joyful activities, the volunteer will help the children to develop their dexterity,
physical condition.
In case of extremely bad weather , the volunteer will be participating in activity clubs (for example art or dancing) which are
held everyday during the whole school year
Horário: 1st week Monday – Friday : getting to know the place, people working in MDK "DH", safety code,
2nd week Monady- Friday : watching, getting to know teachers, their methods of working, children, following teachers’
instructions, getting to know horses, stable works, following instructions in the stable,
3rd week : stable works under supervision of the coaches, leading horses, safeguarding children sitting on the horse under
control of the teachers.
Then the volunteer will continue his duties becoming more and more independent and creative but still together with the teacher.
The volunteer will work from Monday to Friday about two hours daily helping in the hippotherapy and three hours working in the
stable. Sometimes the volunteer will work in the morning and sometimes in the afternoon. It depends on the work hours of the
teachers that will be known in September.
