Perfil: age: 18 until 30 years old
We will welcome any volunteers between 18 and 30 years who enjoy working with children and youth aged from 3-25 year, who are ready to actively join in local public life, who want to learn a new language and who is interested in Latvian language and culture. Volunteer should be with good English language skills, who are active, creative and communicative, who are open-minded and is willing to share their experience about their country and culture.

Information about our organisation will be put into the data base, where volunteers will have opportunity to acquaint themselves with a statement of interest from our society. We will await motivation letters and curriculum vitaes from volunteers. We will communicate with the help of e-mails to get acquainted with a sending organization. Then there will be used Skype and telephone to promote exchange of information as detailed as it is possible. After that we will introduce volunteers with their agenda and we will be glad to hear out their wishes and ideas. Videos and photos will be sent to ensure the introduction with a local environment and neighbourhood.

There will be evaluated volunteer motivation and potencial future acquisition both of volunteer and organization to select them.

Tarefas: Volunteer will be involved in the activities as a full member of the Society. It is particularly important that volunteers could change the public prejudices and stereotypes about different linguistic and cultural differences. Local children and young people in contact with volunteers are using English or learning other languages. Working together, learning the language is easy and informal, which also contributes to the voluntary integration of the local community.
Main activities that the volunteer will be actively involved in:
- Organize activities for children and youngsters,
- to organize different activities (camps, outdoor activities etc.) in co-operation with volunteers,
- to participate in the local social activities and initiatives.
