Candidatura: Para te poderes candidatar tens de fazer o teu login. Se ainda não estás registado faz o teu registo primeiro.

Perfil: The volunteer candidates should be aged between 18 and 30 with some computer skills, basic English and ideally an elementar knowledge of non-formal education. Enthusiasm and interest in inclusion, education and the European project are more important than qualifications. The volunteer should be open-minded, interested and ready to work in an international environment. We will always discuss the project at length with the volunteer to ensure that if the funding is granted the project will be a positive experience for all parties, clarifying details about the role and the aims of the project through writing the application together. We will also leave space for the volunteer to input into the project and shape it more to their interests during the volunteer period.

Selection and Transparency
Vacant EVS placement notices are circulated amongst IFM-SEI member organisations and our partners. Details of the placements are also publised on the YiA website, opening the door to new working partnerships. We request CVs and motivation letters from interested young people, emphasising that our priority is not qualification or experience but motivation in the project. We aim to find a volunteers eager to develop themselves and contribute to the project. On the basis of the CVs and motivation letters we make a short list of three candidates and arranged telephone interviews. On the basis of these meetings we will chose volunteers. The process is transparent and open, we will inform the volunteers of the process and keep in contact with them regarding the progress.

Involvement of young people with less opportunities
We will pro-actively seek to host volunteers with less opportunities. As the next stage of our All Together project, we are working with disadvantaged young people who have been reached by local groups through inclusion activities. We aim to develop All Together, moving to the next level by involving them in the development of further European projects, ensuring they have a role not only in the local organisation but also as an essential part of the international organisation. In order to increase sustainable inclusion, we believe that young people with less opportunities need to feel membership of the organisation and be active at all levels. We will be seeking applications from these young people as volunteers. Our office is accessible to young people with disabilities and we believe that the combination of direct work with children and running educational activities at international level will appeal to a wide range of potential volunteers.

Avoiding job substitution
The volunteers will not be replacing staff members. Their roles will be very distinct and will include many elements focussing on personal development that would not be usual for a staff member.
