Resumo: According the UNHCR ”children-refugees are the most exposed to the pain group of children in the world. Although they constitute the half of all refugees - their rights both as the refugees and children are often depreciated. [...] they need help to recover a sense of security and to rebuild their lives”. They can do so by taking part in social life, enjoying games, having fun and learning. There are some activities for children, usually run by Chechen mothers. There is a kindergarten teacher who works with the volunteers on a daily basis.
There are also paid social workers, whose taks are mainly administrative, but who also try to support all kinds of initiatives and events held in the centre. However, they cannot afford to spend their time planning and running activities for children or teenagers. Thus, there’s a great need for assistance in preparing activities, games and looking after the children.
