Resumo: The main tasks for EVS volunteer children day care centre will be:  Sport activities - to play together with children (soccer, basketball, outside or inside games in different season of the year, dance);  Art activities - workshops with clay, painting, paper and other;  Making homework together – help with homework tasks, keeping attention on homework;  Take part and organise various excursions, trips, festivals with children;  Organise environmental, socially oriented workshops for children;  Volunteers can also suggest their own ideas on activities, workshops. For EVS volunteers Vilijampolė children’s day and crisis center can offer the opportunity to get a closer look at social risk families, their problems and needs; also to communicate with children from those families and plan group activities for them. The role of EVS volunteers in our day center will be to become friends with children and helpers for social workers. Our day center offers a wide range of activities for children in which the volunteers can be involved, for example: handcrafts, sport activities, board games, active games, help in homework making, trips. Also the volunteers could create short films or slideshows about their country, culture, religion, food, traditions, etc. and demonstrate them for children.
