Resumo: The hosting organization is located in a small (10 000 citizens), picturesque town, surrounded by forests, with a beautiful lake in the very centre of it. Thanks to geographic values, our small town is quite attractive for tourists, but it isn't any special place as for possibilities of progress or attractive forms of spending free time. It is just one of many small polish towns. Sometimes one can hear voices saying "how boring is here". Maybe it's true, but it can be boring for those, who are sitting at home in front of TV and who don't care what can be changed in their lives - and that's truth as well. Living in a small town doesn't mean the lack of great possibilities. Choice - that's the key word. One can lock himself in four walls and start complaining, another can focus on his aims and do everything to reach it, treating it as sort of challenge, possibility of development and a chance for a better tomorrow. All is needed is wanting it.

There is many things going on in the town, if one ask about helping other people in general. There is a residence of Occupational Therapy Workshops for disabled people, Therapeutic Day-room for children having difficult entourages, Culture and Art Centre offering more and more interesting and notable art activities and finally Young Creators' Club, which shows its presence in Sêpólno very markedly, organizing all sorts of after-school activities for youngsters. Its commitment is to drag Sepolno's streets and citizens away from "greyness" and day-to-day routine from time to time as well. Happenings on the streets and paratheatrical performances causes loud comments about the club in town, and to this small, polish town like ours we would like to invite volunteers from other countries again. It's been five years now, since EVS volunteers are involved in a work in aid of wards of "Adults for Children" Association as well as local community. They bringing their own ideas to life, joining in to the action, developing new friendships. And after finished projects they coming back to us, to the city - and this is the best evidence that it's not the place but the people are the most important. The presence of EVS volunteers the city - small point on the map of Europe - is the point full of life, full of energy. It's a place where one can develop and make his dreams and passions come true. The doors of "Adults for Children" Association are always open for young, creative and adventurous people, who aren't scared of challenges and who wants to do something useful for themselves as well as for others. Five years of experience in EVS enriched our knowledge and outlook on the world enough to make every volunteer feel here as it was their home.

Perfil: - age: 18 until 30 years old
- willingness to learn new things, gain new abilities and skills.

Tarefas: Volunteers' activity will be concentrated around three basic areas:

AREA ONE: DEVELOPMENT OF THE SKILLS
Main goal of the volunteers is going to be a work in Young Creators' Club - with youth from local schools, in Occupational Therapy Workshop and Therapeutic day-room as well. Those are places, where volunteers will have an opportunity to develop their skills and to obtain new experiences.

Young Creators' Club for youth from local schools:
- prepare and lead classes for young people (art, music, sport, theatre, cooking, photography, journalism etc.). We are very flexible and open for volunteers' ideas. They can organize own classes for youth according to their needs, skills or hobbies;
- organizing and taking part in various social and art events such as exhibitions, happenings, expositions, shows, etc.; especially about European Awareness, EU, EVS, Youth In Action Programme;
- help in creating a web blog about activities in Young Creators' Club and about volunteers' activity as well/create web blog or web page about Europe;
- create a newspaper/film/brochure(with young people from the Club) about - for instance -people's life in EU or other topic according to volunteers' ideas;
- attend in organized trips (bike trips, camps etc.);

Occupational Therapy Workshop for disabled people:
- help instructors with preparation and leading engagements in particular workshops (art, sartorial, exploration of life, housekeeping, D.I.Y., office and computers;
- prepare and lead engagements for their wards (volunteers will never be left alone with wards - it will always be with an attendance of the instructor);
- assistance to wards in day-to-day activities (e.g. cleaning after their classes, help with accompanying wards to the bus stop, etc.);
- help people on a wheelchairs;
- attend in a keep fit and rehabilitations;
- attend in organized trips (day excursions and several day trips);

Therapeutic day-room for children and teenagers from difficult backgrounds:
- help instructors with preparation and leading engagements for kids and youth (art, sports, outdoors games and plays, etc.);
- help with doing a homework;
- prepare and lead engagements for wards (individual and in groups);
- help with day-to-day activities (e.g. cleaning after their classes);
- attend in organized trips.

AREA TWO: EUROPEAN CITIZENSHIP
Activity of the volunteers is first and foremost working in above establishments, but not only that. Another important element of their activity is commitment to the actions, whom main target is to deepen a sense of European citizenship as well as promotion of activities related to EVS and 'Youth In Action' program. We are planning to conduct meetings with a youth from local schools, happenings, exhibitions etc. It will be a good occasion to exchange experiences, to promote EVS and 'Youth In Action' Programme and to present volunteers' culture in local community.

AREA THREE: POLISH CULTURE
Volunteers are going to be involved in activities, which allow them to learn about polish tradition, morals and culture:
- participation in lessons of polish language;
- provided constant contact with polish youth;
- organizing 'polish evenings', as well as volunteers 'national evenings';
- participation in sight-seeing tours (within their work);
- participation in cultural events etc.

We are very flexible and open in terms of volunteers' ideas, for example they can create own classes or prepare some event together with our target groups' members. Moreover volunteers will have possibility to choose one kind of activity (work in particular institution mentioned above) or more. They can choose in which establishment they want to work more and in which less. It depends only on volunteer's expectations, willingness, ideas etc.
