Resumo: The pedagogical workers of our institution are schooled in the assistance of people with special needs, especially in the areas of cultural and economical differences, as well as problems in education or selfconfidence. They are therefore able to handle critical situations. Volunteers with difficulties in this areas are therefore welcome.
Since the kindergarden is not yet handicapped accessible it is not possible for us to accept volunteers with a high need of assistance, especially in the area of health.

Perfil: age: 18 until 30 years old

Tarefas: Volunteers will be introduced in the first 6-8 weeks in the work areas of the hoard. During this time he learns the team, the children and their employment opportunities and the regular work tasks and processes in our facility. So you can get to know our facilities gradually and the everyday life of our institution
The working hours will be approximately 9 to 16, the clock works in addition to their regular project work are the children between 3 to 6 years old in the hobby and also in the planning and implementation of other projects.
The voluntary has his supervisor and tutor.
Every Friday there will be a meeting in which the past week will be evaluated and the week and the new approach and mode of operation of the project idea will be scheduled.
The usual tasks that will confront the next project on the volunteers, the care and supervision of children in their activities such as homework, games and other projects.Among the usual tasks of the volunteers will be motivated to start their own project in our facility.
The tasks of the / of the volunteers are to bring their own culture imaginatively and creatively in a range of learning and growing up our children and learn about the exchange, our culture, our customs and traditions and methods and participate in them.
During the beginning of their stay, the volunteer will be introduced to the different procedures and working areas of the after-school supervision. After that, an adjustment of different activities and projects will be made, so that they fit to the character of the volunteer.
Suggestions for projects

1. Planning, organising and realizing of singing afternoons and regular performances for parents and staff
• musical conducting
• the learning of a foreign language through music
• learning of foreign songs and lyrics

2. English language cours for children
• planning and realizing of small and regular language lessons for children
• 2-3 times a week little tests of of translation with selfevaluation.

3. Organisation and Preparation as well as Support from festivities and in the day care center and festivities and traditions from the home country of the volunteer
• musical performances can be integrated in these festivities

4. Projects end with a festivity

Generally the volunteer is also asked to explain the traditions, games and cultural backround of his or her own homecountry and to take part in field trips and free time activities. This provides learning possibilities within the areas of learning and developing games and the possibility to gain new experience in the field of intercultural learning.

The volunteer will be accompanied on pedagogical level and can partake in the seminars for FSJ (people who are doing a free social year of service). Additionally there will be regular refletion meetings to discuss their work. During the seminars the volunteers will get to know the city of Halle, as well as their own cultural advantages and the possibilities to put their own project ideas into action.
