Resumo: The volunteer is going to learn:
-Latvian
-methods of non-formal education
-skills how to work with young people with different backgrounds
-methods on working with health promotion
-how to organize events, camps, contests
-the specifics of NGOs in Latvia
-the culture, traditions and customs of Latvia
-collaboration in a team
-how to present EVS and Youth in Action for youngsters
-a form of improvisation-theatresports
-the structure of youth policy in Latvia
-advocacy and participation in youth work

Perfil: - age: 18 until 30 years old
- Willingness to work with children and youngsters from different social frames

Tarefas: The volunteer will learn about the daily work in the youth centre, meeting and spending time with youngsters that spend their free time in the centre. Depending on their skills they will provide different workshops for the local youngsters with different backgrounds and teach their native language, if they want to and feel capable of it. The volunteer will promote EVS and YiA in local schools. They will be given the chance to participate in the theatresports workshop.
