Resumo: EVS volunteers will help in an after school program developed by the association for children of 6-11 years. The afterschool program is designed to provide learning activities to children from 12.00 to 17.00 week days.

Perfil: The association aims to be equal opportunity employer. The volunteer needs be committed to his/her EVS project and motivated to work with youth coming from different economical, cultural and educational background. The volunteer need s to have basic knowledge of the English language.

In order to ensure open and transparent selection process for the EVS volunteers ACT Association is promoting the EVS vacancies in variety of e-groups, electronic al newsletters and trough the partner organizations.

Tarefas: • to plan and organize a daily educational program of 5 hours Monday to Friday for children 6 to 11 years. Topics of activities we envisage: art; intercultural education; recycling, reusing materials; science for kids; life skills; etc. Indoor as well as outdoor activities are planned including site visits.
• promote after school program and its activities in the local community
• promoting a family life style by planning and running whole family activities
• encourage and support young people from community involvement as volunteers in the afterschool program
• organize periodically fun - educational weekend activities to promote families participation and volunteering
• organize workshops in highschools and universities in where they can share their experience as EVS volunteers and encourage volunteering
