Resumo: The hosting organization is a social cooperative formed in 1994, whose
activities cover 4 main areas: centre for asylum seekers,
communities for foreign unaccompanied minors, management of
therapeutic programs against addictions, agency of
Development and Social Planning (project structure and
training organization in support of third operators, public
and private and a youth meeting center that seeks to promote
the welfare and make young people aware of risk behaviors).


Accommodation: the volunteers will share the same
appartement with all the facilities they needs (separate
bedrooms between male and female), an equiped kitchen and a
bathroom with washingmachine. If the volunteers will be at
work in lunch time their food will be provide by the
workplace canteen, whereas for the dinners and lunches at
home a part of the food and house and personal cleaning
products will be provided by the cooperative and for a part
of fresh food the volunteers will have a monthly personal
budget in addition to the pocket money.


Training and education: volunteers may attend annual
training activities offered to employees. In particular,
training activities rela ted to the management of interviews
with people in need, to the creation of events, social
planning, conflict mediation. In addition to the volunteers
who will work a minimum of 4 months will be offered basic
training on the topics of their choice and related to their
service.


Italian language training course: we ask to the selected
volunteers to be available one mounth before thier coming in
Italy to attend some italian lessons via skype with one of
our italian teachers. Then when they’ll arrive in
Italy they’ll have one other mounths of intensive
formal and non formal (for example tandem method) italian
language education.


Monthly ticket for public transport (bus+ boat for your tour
in Venice) for the duration of the project.


Tutoring and mentoring for the duration of the project.

Perfil: Project 1: preferably the ideal volunteers is strongly
motivated to work with foreign people and has some skills or
attitude for intercultural exchange. His or her english
language level is good and the volunteer could be support
some english lessons for the people who live at the
Residential (refugees and unaccompained minors). Every
creative skills are welcome for the support of the leisure
activities organized to the centres guest, but also the
organizational and administrative skills are well-accepted
for managing leisure events and administrative tasks.

Project 2: preferably a basic italian language knowledge to
have a good relationship with the laboratory young
participants, artistic (music, painting, dance,
photography,..) and graphics skills are required to support
workers in managing laboratory and computer classes. A
previous experience or attitude in social situations (as
other volunteering experience in social sector) are welcome!


In general we are plesed to host in the structures of the
Cooperative young people aged between 18 and 30
years of any nationality, who have also had minimal
experience of work local, school, extra school or
international voluntary, also conducted in their own country
of origin. They should know at least the English language
tolerably.

Tarefas: The volunteers would work in two of the
different services that the cooperative offers as support of
the youth and professional workers.

Project 1: the volunteer will be assigned at the
Residential care facilities for Political Asylum and
Refugees and in Residential care facilities for Unaccompanied Minors. The volunteers will carry out their
tasks where the Residences are
located.

Tasks of volunteers: to support the workers in organizing
leisure activities for refugees and unaccompained minors as
creative laboratory or parties, language lessons, sports
initiatives and helping guests in managing of greenhouse
cultivation.

Project 2: two of the volunteers will be assigned at the NSE
- Center of aggregation for the promotion of wellness and
youth culture (music lessons ,spray art, break dance
lessons, photo labs, make up courses, courses for dj - and the Scholar laboratory paths
for the prevention of risk behaviors. The will carry out
their tasks in the organization headquarters.

Tasks of volunteers: to support the workers in organizing
artistic laboratory and computer classes with that shoots
for prevention of risk behaviors as drugs, alchool and bad
companies!
