Resumo: - The hosting organization is located in a small town at the Polish-German border – it's a very interesting cultural experience to live and work here;
- It is an academic town;
- The town is located near the capital, with very good, fast and efficient train connection (every half an hour);
- The town is nicely located, at the river, which provides many opportunities for sports (outdoor swimming and indoor
swimming , gyms, aerobic classes, numerous bike lanes);
- A possibility to participate in a variety of afternoon classes (language courses, courses at Adult Education School
/ Oder, or at the Municipal Culture Centre, which also offers various cultural events and afternoon classes (dance
classes, art classes, etc ...);
- A large, comfortable and modern equipped office space in the building of the university library,
neighborhood of another NGO ;
- The ability to purchase meals in the canteen of the university;
- the University has a large and modern campus student (dormitory), where a volunteer could live - single or double room
with private bathroom and a shared kitchen for the entire segment (a 4-6 rooms).

Perfil: Profile of the applicant:
- interest of cultural heritage and project management
- interested in the cross-border and cultural background of the region
- basic knowledge of German or Polish can be an advantage in case of foreign volunteers
- Participants have to be of full age

Tarefas: - The opportunity to deepen knowledge regarding cultural heritage preservation and to gain experience in coordination of
educational projects in this area
- Achieving knowledge about fundraising in Polish-German projects concerning the common cultural heritage
- An excellent opportunity to learn a foreign language (language school at the Foundation, the opportunity to study in
groups, in a tandem or individually).
- An opportunity to participate in the lectures of one's choice at the European Cultural Heritage course at the University Viadrina
(language of lectures is German)
- An Opportunity to develop one's own ideas and to seek sources of funding, applying for a grant and if there is enough time to
implement a project concerning the preservation of cultural heritage.
- The Volunteers at our Foundation will act as a helpers and observers. They will participate in the implementation of ongoing
projects coordinated by the Foundation.
Their main tasks will include:
- translating and updating of the Foundation's website
- establishing contacts with potential partners of the foundation
- assistance in organization of various meetings
- assistance in project management
- assistance in the preparation, production and distribution of advertising materials
- creative work: the development of new project ideas / creation and implementation of one's own small project
- finding sources of funding for NGOs
- assistance in preparing cost estimates and project schedules
- assistance in preparing technical and financial reports
- office work
