Resumo: Project environment

Przedszkole Miejskie nr 133 is situated in Lodz. Lodz is a big city in the centre of Poland near the capital. Our past and traditions provide an opportunity of organising international events under the slogan "Lodz - the City of Four Cultures". The mixture of many traditions, histories and religions (Polish, German, Jewish and Russian) present in our city influences its nature. Lodz rebuilds its links with the tradition in an excellent way. Lodz is a candidate for the title of European Capital of Culture for the year 2016. The Leon Schiller's National Higher School of Film, Television and Theatre in Lodz (Panstwowa Wyzsza Szkola Filmowa, Telewizyjna i Teatralna im. Leona Schillera w Lodzi) is the most notable academy for future actors, directors, photographers, camera operators and TV staff in Poland.

There are a lot of places where you can spent your free time - theatres, cinemas, museus, pubs, discos. No trip to Lodz is complete without a stroll down Piotrkowska Street, the city's pride and joy. You can buy everything you need in shopping centres - Manufaktura and Galeria. In our city there are a lot of restaurants where you can eat traditional meals from different countries.

In the neighbourhood our organisation there are: the ZOO, The Botanical Garden, sport centre - Arena, swimming pools, parks. From our kindergarten is close to the centre of Lodz. It is easy to move everywhere because you have access to public transport - buses, trams.

Perfil: We would like to receive the volunteer who:
- likes playing with children at age of 3 - 6;
- dosen't smoke;
- is outgoing and creative person,
- is reliable person;
- likes music, plastic arts, sport, theatr, dance;
- likes tours, hikes;
- doesn't mind noise;
- likes healthy and active life style.

The recruitment proces will carry out with the Coordinating Organisation - Ferso. We will take advantage of essence our intention letter and volunteer's CV. We are interested in volunteer's motivation, interests.

Tarefas: - acquainting with work in Polish kindergarten;
- taking part and organizing plays, games for children at the age of 3 - 6 in our kindergarten;
- describing games in which play children in volunteer' country;
- organizing classes devoted to volunteer's culture, holidays, customs, traditional meals, country, city for children, their parents and kindergarten's employees;
- joining volunteer in our holidays, celebrations (Happy Days, Knighting nursery school pupils, Christmas Day, Granny's and Grandpa's Day, the fancy-dress ball, Mother's and Father's Day);
- taking part in different tours (tour of the city - £ódŸ, hikes to the Botanical Garden, the Zoo, tours to the nearby places, departures to theatres, cinemas, museums);
- teaching children volunteer's language (some expressions, not regular lessons);
- learning polish language (some expressions, not regular lessons) and polish culture (our traditional holidays, customs, meals, history).
