Resumo: The hosting organization is one of the six state-owned residential special schools in Finland. It provides holistic rehabilitation, upbringing, education and care services for highly challenging children and young people. EVS volunteer will work in assistant positions in child and youth care, education and upbringing. Duties and work tasks vary according to volunteers’ skills, age and experience. The organization is situated in the southeast part of Finland.

Perfil: EVS volunteer should be motivated to work with youth with difficult backgrounds and to be prepared for social tasks. Good social skills and experience of youth work are of a great value. Age limit minimum 20 years.

Tarefas: The volunteer can participate in every day living at school and in unit including hobbies and activities of children. The volunteer should be one of the adults.

EVS volunteer will work in assistant positions in child and youth care, education and upbringing. Duties and work tasks vary according to volunteers’ skills, age and experience.

During the day the children are at school and in the evening time, they are in the ward. The work in the ward is shift work.
