Resumo: The city lies east of the Czech Republic around 20 km from the center. The city has 82 469 inhabitants. Distance to the capital city of Prague is 400 km and it takes about 4 hours by train.

The city center is just 10 minutes by bus, you will find more cultural and leisure activities such as theater, cinemas, swimming pool, music clubs. Valdocco is very easily accessible by local transport.

In the building where a club is situated, there is also staff office, gym, computer room and other facilities for club activities (billiards, darts, table tennis, football, table, crazy squash etc.).

In the same building there is cozy flat for the volunteer. It is a large studio with own bathroom, kitchen with all necessary facilities (fridge, washing machine, TV and internet connection). The volunteer will be living there alone and also he/she will have office for preparation to work. The volunteer will have an opportunity to lunch in Primary school situated just opposite volunteers flat, but of course he/she can use kitchen for self-catering. Groceries are next door, just 3 minutes walk. In the same area is located the drugstore, pharmacy and ATM.

Since this is a leisure club, office hours will be the following:

Monday 15:00 - 19:30
Tuesday 15:30 - 20:30
Wednesday 15:30 - 20:30
Thursday 15:30 - 20:30
Friday 15:30 - 20:30

Perfil: age: 18 until 30 years old

On the basis of activities that the volunteer would carry out, we would like to welcome volunteers with an interest in sports, music and dance. We would like to welcome a creative, young person with a drive and with interest and positive attitude. He/she should have good relationship with children and young people. If the volunteer plays any sports actively or plays an instrument that would be fine.

The volunteer should also accept the Christian faith, on which our organization is based, but it does not mean that the volunteer has to be a Christian. We would like to cooperate with the organization of a similar nature (but not a requirement).

Tarefas: The volunteer will have the opportunity to actively participate in the most of activities and programs. We believe that the volunteer will be working as part of the team. Since our organization is small, the volunteer will be "full member" of our organization and will get full support from us. If the volunteer will have an idea of his own workshop, he/she will receive a support form our side. We consider that this will be advantage to both, the volunteer and to organization.

We would like to see the volunteer work on his/her own initiative and also he/she will get space and time for his/her own project. The volunteer will be working directly with children and youth under the guidance of the professional workers. We would like to see the volunteer work in gym and if possible to participate in aerobics or dance school, football and the cooking workshop. We believe that the cooking workshop will be interesting - enrichment of the culinary traditions of our country and the country of the volunteer.

Main activities:
For young people between 14-26 years:
- football, volleyball, florbal
- fitness centre
- dancing lessons
- cooking workshops
- the nights in the center
- outdoors activities such as wall climbing, horseback riding, Ski park, bowling, etc.
- summer and winter trips
- occasional events - sports tournaments, celebrations

The volunteer will work 5 days a week with weekends usually off. From time to time the volunteer will participate on Saturday trips, and therefore the other day in the week will be his/her day off. The volunteer will not work more than 35 hours a week. Time off is also on the bank holidays.

The volunteer can use office and centre space for his/her work from 12.00. Job description and activities is only draft. Final activities and job description we will make in agreement with the volunteer.

The volunteer will be also attending staff meetings, teambuilding or any training.
The volunteer will be able to attend English lessons which are carried out once a week for our staff members and also we are able arrange Czech language course. He/she will have an opportunity meet regularly with the project coordinator and also with his/her mentor.
